I love both versions of the song... but the reimagined version definitely gets you in the feels. Just the lyrics alone are simply amazing. Crazy how time goes by and you reflect on songs you grew up listening to at a point in your life when your more mature..... how those songs influenced you. So happy for the band making gold status on that album. Well deserved.

The tour is great, btw. Just did the VIP meet & greet experience in Kansas City. Was kinda hoping they'd perform the 'Reimagined' version, but the old one was still awesome. Checked y'all out on Spotify after watching the reaction video, and was impressed. Love the guttural screams!

Every few years or more we hear music and vocals like this, the only word I can think of... Transcending. Every person I've talked to or watched reacting get goosebumps or become semi hypnotized.
As someone who loves singers of all types, I wish that everyone who thinks metal bands are full of guys that “can’t sing, just scream” would watch that video.

Ballads are my favorite expression of rock. So glad Ronnie made this and hopefully more bands will make them again
I love that you guys love the strings. My son plays a viola in an orchestra. Hits me in the heart time....than he breaks out the guitar and jams. Lol. Multi talented. I watched jimmy page get emotional watching a young girl play her violin. It’s nice to see people appreciate all forms of music.

It’s pretty crazy to think what’s up his sleeve and what he’s working on now and what’s coming in the future and how this next album will piece up. It’s gonna be difficult to keep staying at this consistency but knowing Ronnie he will keep that consistency maybe even rise the bar. He’s just that talented. That SOB 🤣 but I am excited though for what’s coming ❤️ haha
I saw them last Friday night, and they opened the set with it. It was incredible. Great video guys. You go much deeper into the analysis than some other reaction videos out there.

TrueShot Official the video came out the day before we saw them, and my wife and I probably watched it about 20 times. A lot of people clearly hadn’t, cause everyone knew the lyrics, but didn’t realize how slow the whole song was, and would sing a few words ahead before they realized how much he slows down the “feet don’t fail me now” line. But yeah, it was amazing.
I just saw them in concert on February 12th in Ft. Lauderdale this song Live was freaking absolutely amazing. There are some Live videos of it, I myself did one. You guys should react to Losing My Life/Losing My Mind and Drugs ft. Corey Taylor in that order because it's a Trilogy with the songs & videos.

I believe your the first to notice the fangs, it has a major vampiric theme to the production at least to me. Ronnie didn't write nor record the piano for this. An Irish musician recorded his own rendition of the song on the piano and sent it to Ronnie not expecting to get any reply he was asked can he use it and he will give him credit for it. No credit given yet as far as I'm aware.

Theres a guy named Sean Rooney on YT that says he arranged and played on the recording of this song. He has a video of him playing the entire song. If you watch him play the piano solo vs Ronnie, its not the same hand movements. I think Ronnie is a visionary and lyrical genius but I do think he definitely gets help bringing it to full fruition. The girl is the same as the one on the cover for the album the original ‘The Drug in Me Is You’ and the fangs are a nod to ‘I’m Not A Vampire’. These were easter eggs to the fans of the original album.
I believe they're actually werewolf fangs. This video "storywise" is after Popular Monster. So it's Ronnie now burning away the misery he felt when he wrote this when he was in jail.

I listened to Paris and Purgatory and my initial thoughts were (vocally) Batmetal/Dethklok and Blink 182, odd combination but not bad.
