CAFE 2025 is not a new regulation… OEMs should have put in place appropriate portfolio for avoiding CAFE impact. This is good for the environment. If legislators didn’t push OEMs they would never have done efforts reducing emissions and implement BEV. They knew the solutions but reluctant to implement it, opening doors to Chinese BEV, Tesla… which are going to make money by selling their emissions credits. Tavares has been more honest about it than Luca who is now ACEA head which is double hat is causing interferences in communication.
@JPLUSUI Do not forget that Carlos was in the board of Total before the change in name to Total Energies. Carlos and Luca have thr same responsability of doing no transition from thermic to electric car in the industry. Tesla CTO said in an interview many years ago that they were surprised that old carmakers did not move to produce more electric cars. Of course, economical dumping of chinese carmakers is a fact
My compliments. The only CEO who understands period and facts about Automotive!
Grande Luca.. ricordo ancora quando hai spinto per la VW Up, un vero successo. 😂😂😂😂😂
Luca sei bravissimo!
I hope to see this Gentleman CEO of Stellantis will be a big win for Europe: USA trade

Does China do this? Do US do this? No, they subsidize their car industries. EU tax them.
