Hi Dave, really enjoyed the video. Just goes to show, if you take a variety of baits and ring the changes you can turn a hard looking session into a good days fishing! We did have a days guiding booked pre pandemic/floods. I’ll have to try and get rebooked All the Best and a Happy New Year Pete
Thanks Dick. The Rivers are up and down but it was 16° here yesterday which should get those barbel moving, whatever the height. Tight lines when you do get out.👍
@@anglingescapadeswithdavero2363 I can never understand it that the silver fish won’t feed on maggots sometimes/most times on winter especially high coloured water . You would think sometimes there’s not a fish in the river but they are there come summer you can’t put a bait in without being pestered by Dace and bleak. What I learned from this is even if you’re not getting bites/fish from bits on maggots then you can still pick up the odd chub /barbel on meat it pellet great vid thanks
