This video is super helpful. 30,000 ft view is exactly what I need right now as I aim to purchase my first home in approximately 5 years. Working on building up my savings! Cheers.

Thanks, I really need it. Keep talking loud and clear, the way you mention it sound easy, but in reality, it is a big responsibility for first time buyers as well as for the agents for future references.
It does not matter either Massachusetts or California, or somewhere in between, thank you Craig and already subscribed.

You bet. Thanks for watching. And you're correct, it's a huge responsibility. The first real estate purchase is actually the most important in most people's lives. It has a long-lasting effect on their net worth and financial prospects.

Wow this guy never shuts up…
Great stuff Craig. Very clear and concise explanation of a pretty intimidating process for a first time home buyer.

And to think this is the concise version, I have another one I had to cut because I just rambled on about nonsense

Thank you for watching Bob! Appreciate you taking the time. It's a tough market out there, so the best thing you can really do is arm yourself with information as a buyer. If I can help answer any other questions or point you in the right direction on your search feel free to email me anytime Craig@PowerRealtyBoston.com

Ive heard of grants for first time home buyers that offer assistance for down payments, closing, furnishing,... but when i look for such programs all i find are separate loan programs. Are "grants" a myth?

    • @powerrealtyadvisors

There are a variety of programs that may offer down-payment assistance, etc depending on the situation. For first time buyers specifically there are some programs that exist where you may be able to get a certificate and a potentially lower down payment requirement. Loan products change frequently though (I'm not a loan officer) so I'd probably direct you to a local lender for a better idea of your options today. Hope that helps! I know the internet can be a black hole with this stuff.
