I was in a hmong leadership role and it's not worth the time and effort. I'm born and raised in the US. Now with many conflict, I've decided to chase my dream and follow my $$$$. I could retire now and live happily.

You have to know who you are and only do what you can, not doing more just to please the higher class people. You created problems more your husband, who doesn't want to be involved with leadership team. Open your eyes, many people don't want to be leader and don't want to be associated with higher class people. You have to know your own position and place. I don’t understand why people want to be a leader in the Hmong community that bad. For me, I would rather spend my time with my family not that kind of work. If I want to be leader I would rather go run for government one which I would get paid for.
