Oh. My. God. You are literally a life saver, I was about to return my items because they wouldn't fit together but now after this video I figured it out. Thank you so much!
If you want to wear a headset with a head band your best bet is with the old style cussion. With the newest ones there's no space for the headband but with the older style you just put over it between the head net and the dome of the helmet
awesome vid, one thing i will say though is mounted cups will not press as hard on your ears and will not offer the same level of ear protection, but this isnt a problem with airsoft
Recently spent some time wearing Ops Core headset under a Team Wendy Bump helmet, it was very painful to say the least. You can definitely use the headset with a headband under a helmet, but I would absolutely recommend using a helmet mounted system if possible. Great video, keep up the good work!
Thanks, and I agree. In overall if you can mount it you best do it, especially when it comes to comfort. But as shown in the video, wearing a headband headset underneath your helmet also has its advantages. It's all about your preferences, but avoiding a headache is everybody's main priority. XD | Viper
I'm gonna try this. The problem with helmet mounted system is they are very limited adjustable. The either put much too pressure against my ears and height adjustment is also limited.
CROPAT - Croatian Digital Pattern Either surplus or checking out SparTac products, they make 1:1 copy of the official combat shirt. Other stuff they have still uses the official fabric, but in their own tailoring, focusing on Gen 3 and such
I use my Comtac ii between the helmet and the skull mount in my Ops Core Carbon, if i need the headset without the helmet, just open the skull mount and get the Peltors. The Team Wendy dont have that feature?
Hi, from what I can see the MICH 2000 systems do offer extra space for headband versions under the helmet. Due to the ballistic ear protection of the helmet it will not be possible to mount them. I Instinct
so I'm not going to discredit what Reconbrothers said, but I _will_ say that there is a video on youtube of a soldier firing an M2 HB wearing an ACH (which I believe shares almost the exact form factor of the MICH) with his Comtacs mounted on the ARC rail. to this day I cannot figure out how he did it, but let it be known: it is possible.
@@luftwaffles274 that's also an idea; alternatively, the Comtac 5, as well as a couple civilian-oriented headsets, have behind-the-neck headbands already (assuming this is what you're talking about). but I mean I saw a video of a soldier with Comtacs mounted *on his helmet,* on ARC rails.
Just wanted to throw in my thoughts on Sordins and arc rail mount… It’s a joke. Even with gel cups those headphones don’t have enough renationalise on the mount to sufficiently seal off any ambient sound. When I foraged them a bit to stuck to my skin it worked ok but that’s not the point. What’s the point of heaving an expensive headset that supposed to protect your hearing if it not works the way it should work. Not sure abt Peltor’s my the pressure on the cops is higher than Sordins…
I think you're missing the point its not just for sound reduction/amplifying but also to use your coms...well thats how it works in the real world anyway 🤷 good luck trying to tell your partners thats not in shouting range of you any important info
You can try to use gel pads instead of foam ones if the issue is quite minor. Otherwise depending on the brands you use you might want to look at either compatible components that don't have that issue. Or if you are a lefty, and that is mainly causing the issue you can try to get left dominant parts. If all of those don't work, try going for adapters instead of using the headset underneath the helmet.
Omg, you read my mind. My headset is coming soon and needed this

Thank you! Glad to offer the help through this video. 😉 | Viper
Love your channel; this is a super cool idea! You guys are probably the most hardcore airsofters I know
i bought a mich 2000 and a head set and couldn't figure out how to wear my headset under the helmet this helped
very useful video

Dont be scared, its just a bit tight. Im using Emerson fast helmet and it fits, the helmet just rises up a tiny bit.
Thanks for the input! appreciate it.

Thanks for taking the time to comment! 🙏 We'll start producing new videos soon! 😁👍
Respect for wearing cropat, greetings from Croatia.
It is a very effective camo man, and it is cool to know that they added the shape of Croatia to the pattern as well. ;) I Instinct
i have no fucking clue why i watched this but atleast it was entertaining.
Good enough for us. XD
What is the name of camo?
Where can i get it?

The liner system inside a Team Wendy is different. Unlike with an Ops-Core it's not a full skull you can take out. | Viper
is possible to use the mounted headset on a mich 2000 with ear protection? or i must use a headband with my helmet? thanks

Can you do this with a mich helmet?
A helmet based on the genuine MICH measurements should work with a Sordin headset. Sordin was part of the MICH project years ago. | Viper

What headset is that?
It's a Sordin Supreme Mil CC Slim: www.reconbrothers.com/shop/74332-06-s-sordin-c-supreme-mil-cc-slim-green-2399?category=12
What about for us that wear a low cut helmet? My headset won’t fit and helmets are expensive
Active earbuds or behind the neck headset
I sent my old PASTG helmet to Kustom ACH to be converted to a high-cut
Is that... Cropat?
Yes it is, this clothing is from Spar-Tac which is from a Croatian manufacturer. So Cropat could not be overlooked. ;)
@@ReconBrothers ik bro I just can't believe outside of Croatia use it
I can't manage to put the diademma under the helmet. However, it's an airsoft helmet so that could explain it
It is not an airsoft helmet bro. It's a legit Team Wendy bump helmet.
Yes thats what I was talking about XD
