Austria (Vienna - Rathausplatz Film Festival) 2024 part 2

The Filmfestival Rathausplatz in Vienna is an annual summer event that transforms the city's Rathausplatz into a vibrant cultural hub. In 2024, it runs from June 29 to September 1, offering an eclectic mix of music and cinematic experiences in a stunning open-air setting. The festival features a diverse lineup, including performances from legends like The Rolling Stones, Queen, and Coldplay, alongside jazz icons such as Norah Jones and Gregory Porter.
Each evening, films and concert recordings are projected onto a massive 300-square-meter screen, starting at dusk. The event is free and also includes live DJ sets, songwriter sessions, and even activities for children, making it a perfect spot for after-work relaxation or family outings.
Additionally, the festival is renowned for its "Gastro Mile," which offers a global culinary journey with 26 gourmet stands serving everything from traditional Austrian dishes to international delicacies.
