Toto was nominated for Best New Artist of 1978, lost to A Taste of Honey, here you have Toto winning Best New Album, and A Taste of Honey forgotten by the entire world.
In my opinion Toto is one of the most talented group of musicians there has ever been. I know they won 7 Grammys but I still think they're under rated.
Amazing the WIDESCREEN footage... was found. I remember this as a kid, been on a TOTO binge of rediscovery, and I remember this vaguely watching it on my 4:3 analog TV.
I was 6 so was in bed asleep. But I had already heard “IV” & was hooked for life. Don’t blame you, 43 year old me still screams like a 13 year old girl anytime I see them…this video included. Really glad this was posted so finally get to see it 🥰
In Poland where I live, most journalists always reffered to Toto as super-group. No other band was reffered to in this way. I guess everybody knows why👍👍👍
Damn it folk. Who are you? Ethan Lowry and Vladix123 are the big channels with almost all the material from Toto. And from what I've researched for a long time this Grammy videos are are not in yt and I've not been able to see them. Are you in discord's Toto server?

One of the best rockband in history for me absolutely Top 1👍👍👍🎸🎸🎸, Jeff Porcaro, Mike Porcaro, Fergie Fredericksen R.I.P
...for all, i Think.. ❤
Good to see that all six original members working on the Toto IV album including David Hungate came to the stage to accept the awards.
Steve Lukather looked like my ideal type of guy 😍
This is so cute. Forever Toto!
Whole album is amazing...not just Africa!

Bought that album when I was in Grade Ten. Loved every song! RIP Jeff! Loved his talent!
Maybe the most underrated band of all time.
Jeff has an amazing voice haha.

I remember watching this also. I wasn't really happy about. I think Hall & Oates were up for some of the same awards and didn't get any.
I love that the audience is made up of many artists that Toto members did sessions for and said artists were nominated for the same grammys!

Cuando se hacia música de verdad y con sentido que bellos tiempos
I watched the same video uploaded recently, when I saw that dude with glasses I'd didn't think that's his voice but it is, great stuff anyway.

@@TonsOfFun411 me either. It was very random. Since Steve was the keyboard guy, I figured it was electronics humor.

@@totofans5695 I know right, it think it is because they are not longer interested on the process of uploading or maybe they ran out of material
@@davidzuniga9362 I understand. I wanted to make a website for people to upload videos. I know there are a lot of videos out there.
@@totofans5695 yeep, there's a guy that started a Toto site. I don't remember the name of the web. It's not toto99 totobootlegs or anything like that

Steve Porcaro was always so 'jittery' back then....wonder why....
Anyone knows what Steve porcaro says?

Do you have the footage of the nominations as well?
No, but I can try to look for you.

@@djfobtronics They were mainly up against themselves - they all must have performed on pretty much all the songs/albums that were nominated!!!!

A brilliantly strange looking band! Studio tan I guess.
