FNF Pibby Corrupted but this time we battle Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Steven, Spinel, Mordecai. We'll be playing the official FNF X Pibby mod on very hard. This basically got a huge remastered, the true owners of each pibby ets gave permission to a modder to use for their official pibby mod, and here we are playing one of the hugest Come Learn With Pibby mod. A lot of new songs, charts, and a remix in Freeplay. There will be another update, 2.0 patch in the future with cutscenes, and all.
Will Boyfriend, Girlfriend & Pibby manage to beat them or will the others use their corruption power to beat BF and GF in this mod?

I noticed that the corrupted characters sometimes freeze for a measly second on their idle animation, as if they're really glitching, such an awesome detail.

I love the detail of some personality in the characters.
For example, I like how BF stands his ground but clearly isn’t very comfortable with how he has to “fight” these things. Pibby clearly wants to leave, but doesn’t want to leave BF behind like the others. The sounds of Finn’s audio sound more panicked, loud, and pained- like he’s fighting. Then there’s Jake, who sounds more dull and exhausted, as if he’s done trying. Really cool mod!
And for Steven, he sounds like he regrets his life. And for spinel she sounds like she’s crying.
I honestly have no idea what to say about Mordecai's voice as it's amazing but I don't know what tone it's in

Gosh the losing icon for Steven is so eerie, as if due to him having more power than any other show character he has much more control, yet the corruption being as powerful as it is and being mostly all over his body he still sees what he is doing, thus leading him to tears.

I like that Finn’s down pose doesn’t move that much, it’s pretty much his idle slightly down, and it surprisingly fits when he starts singing in Glitched Duo, since people would be confused on why Jake wasn’t singing until they realize Finn is aware in the position he’s in, he can fight along with Jake.

This is absolutely insane learning with Pibby was just supposed to be a short little horror special but it’s blown up the points where full blown mods and animations are constantly improving and are spreading like the corruption

Finn: The most unpredictable but less coordinated will attack when sees nessacary but don't be fooled because he's just a human he is the quickest of the 3 is very persistent *Lost on the outside but still fighting on the inside*
Jake: The smartest of the trio knows exactly what he's doing prefers to let Finn attack while he prefers to overwhelm you your way and apparently is smart enough to speak full sentences? *??*
PB: The most aggressive of the 3 but her movements are predictable prefers to let Finn and Jake do the heavy lifting since her experience in combat is practically 0 *10% control*
Steven:Half human half gem and knows what there doing and *is still fighting on the inside but on the outside he’s corrupted* *and also managed to speak full sentences??? Seems as if he is fighting when in the dark place*

I have my own personal theory about this mod. I noticed in the Finn and Jake week, Jake's arrows are completely black, while Finns are still normal, which leads me to believe that Finn hasn't been completely taken over or is still fighting, which could mean there's a chance to save him.

Yeah, you cant even tell hes corrupted escept by the figertips of his hand, and his eyes, and (barely) whenever he moves. But he's still corrupted enough to ATTEMPT TO SLICE US 5 TIMES A SECOND
I love the detail on how whenever the characters sing, their arrows still light up as they have so little control over their body.
This mod is nothing short of terrifying.
This may be just me, but I grew up watching these characters, they are my childhood.
So that just makes it that much creepier to see them corrupted to this state.
The art is awesome, the songs are awesome, and I love it all.
The idea of Nostalgic Fear is quite new, so I would like to see what happens to the rest of this.
Pibby is basically a hybrid of Glitch Horror, Nostalgia, and a preschool education show

On top of that seeing anything twist out of shape already makes my skin crawl. But like I've always had this fear of running from some inescapable darkness that never catches up but is always close.
I loved su and spinel was my fav character
5:03 I love the detail of a bit of the corruption staying in BF's face for a brief moment when he is attacked.

Well luckily, despite the fact that Jake has his own elastic sword upon his left animation, it's great how he doesn't actually attack with it. It's when Finn gets his sword out when you know he's got some words to say.
In my friends that bit sounds like......MONOCHROME!
More fun fact: In those frames you can see a shot of semi Corrupted BF, one with his smile and shaded eyes and one with a surprised whole eyed expression but no visibly mouth, almost as if he’s in pain, before he freaks out and snaps back and shakes the residue off.

I liked the older Finn style, he was more sporadic and unhinged looking, his body contorting into uncomfortable positions, the new one looks like Finn but with the glitch effects
It's obvious spinels bar sprite is just an image of spinel from the show but cropped and glitchy.
The rest of this mod is fantastic, I hope they do more with this cause there are SO many possibilities now open.
The only thing I didn't like about old Finn was his resting position lookin like he happy at his boner he starin at.

Imagine the sheer speed and strange Finn puts into that swing with his sword. The sheer power of Finn is certainly incredible
As someone who still binge-watches SU, I'm obviously in love with the Steven Universe part of the mod. Although, I love all of the art for all the characters, but definitely my favourite mod.

I realized jakes animations reference a lot of horror based things. his down is the lost silver down animation, and I think his right is referencing the mandala catalog. Jake clearly has an analog horror vibe to his animations.

I like how creators made a lot of Monochrome Easter eggs such as Spinel's song and Jake's up sprite, very cool! I also think that the Pre-Last song in the Finn & Jake week was the Best, especially the duet parts and the long note parts! In the Steven week I like the "Get it!" parts

It's really horrifying just to see my childhood be shattered in a moment of seeing Finn and Jake to look demonic and suffering from the corruption. Specially Jake, with him looking like he's reaching for help, trying to escape.

Jake's up animation in _Brotherly Bond_ is a reference from _Monochrome_ from the _Hypno's Lullaby_ mod.
I also have a theory that their eyes are all blacked out so they can't see what they are doing.

One thing I noticed about them is that Finn's sword doesn't glitch that much, whereas Steven and Spinel's weapons glitch showing that their weapons (Steven & Spinel) are a part of them.
Finn isnt fully corrupted yet he fighting in the inside
Mordecai's song had no right to go that hard, but I guess it makes sense since he only has one song, and there's no one else there with him, even as potential victims.
It's nice seeing the fnf community is still alive and talented with mods. This is very well done!

its so depressing to see my childhood shattered in all of these, but the part that mainly hurt was seeing lion staring at what his best friend has become
theory: if the voice of a corrupted character is more pained then that means inside the true character is fighting like Finn. While characters with a voice like jakes (who is more dull and sad sounding) means they have just given up fighting and have accepted their fate

It's not in Jake's character to just give up when he knows he's doing harm

For a glitch covered shoggoth, it certainly knows how to make corrupted characters drop quite a list of banger tracks.
That aside, one has to wonder if the victims are still themselves buried within that mass of black and colored pixels, or if they are simply gone gone, and the glitch is doing it to mock the survivors. Or it is simply doing what it does out of indifference, and doesn't understand what is going on.... or maybe both

I think they're _gone gone_ , it's only taking their memories and attributes and re-using lines they've said in their memories to mock the survivors and use 'what they used to be' against them, otherwise wiping them of whoever they used to be clean.

This is really good, don't get me wrong......but I feel like some of these songs are just...way too hard to actually be playable. Corrupted Hero looks like it would be a hellscape for any poor soul not experienced in the art of timed button mashing.

I have a theory, if the characters get corrupted there’s a certain amount of corruption on them like Finn, he only has some on his finger so that means since he’s a human and only 13 (in the series) he’s easy to corrupt, but like Steven he needs a lot so he can stay somewhat corrupted, bc if there’s only a little bit he can easily break out, but that also includes the fact how strong they really are and how much they can fight.(mentally fight to break out physical)
Coincidence? I think not.

Something probably didn’t notice: (facts about corrupted Steven part) 1. Peridot, lapis, and another gem (can’t really see it) have been poofed which probably means Steven did it and now is telling boyfriend to run because he might kill him.

Oh my god, that "Here we are in the future" was just REALLY cool. I watched Steven Universe 2 months ago to the end, so i remember that. Also, it fits the meaning.
My favorite characters ... corrupted by "broadcast shutdown."
In my opinion I like it but ... not as much as the previous one that imitated the modeling of the characters, here they are more terrifying and different to their design, but even so it adds variety and that earns extra points.

Bro I freaking LOVE Overworked. They actually made a full version of somebody's song concept for corrupted Mordecai and it sounds so good! Hopefully in the full version we will see some new cartoon characters, as well as some more songs for Mordecai.
Bro this mod is amazing. All the songs are so good and the art is so eerie and yet pleasing and amazing at the same time. It's insane how much work must have went into this.
