That's the only thing I hate about cheerleading now. These young girls think it's all about how fancy their team looks. But it's not. Cheerleading especialy competition cheer is about spirit, and how clean your routine is. As said before back then Uniforms were used so that the judges and audience knew who the team were and the uniforms were used as a represenitive. Nowadays uniforms just seem to be used as "what makes the performance" when it's not.
Haha... I know exactly what she was doing because we were ALL taught to do it back then before going on stage (at least everyone I knew); she was pulling all the lipstick off the inside of her lips so that lipstick didn't get on her teeth when she smiles so hugely in front of the judges. It supposedly keeps lipstick from getting on your teeth. :)
i think you´re right, and she is in major chock walking out saying she didn´t smile during the routine. Lol and the lady who replied "don´t smile". Poor girl though and the other one that acciddentily knocked her teeth out with her elbow must have felt terrible after the incident.
"sorry I didn't smile" haha wow that just shows how much that performance meant to her!
am i the only one who loves the look of the half top with skirts that come up and cover the bellybutton?
