You're right, all one T29E3s that are in museums don't have one. But, at the time I built this, metal barrels didn't exist for the kit, and every other mounting of this gun on vehicles had the brake, so I put it on.

It bothered me as well. I actually used end section of the plastic barrel from a Trumpeter 17cm Geschutzwagen to replace the 155 barre on a hypothetical T30E2 I'm doing right now.

the t29 dont have muzzle break on the e3 . all prototype that you can find in museum dont have one

Thinking about doing the T30/34 but the 155 looking so tiny would bother me.
