Thank you for the video. My wife ad I did this walk in September 2019 to complete the whole of the Cornish section of the South West Coast Path. We celebrated with a bottle of champagne next to the ferry point at Cremyll. It took us nearly 13 years to do it but it was worth it. Your videos help me remember the superb views ad why I love Cornwall!
We have a record of the stretches of coast path we have walked but I think you have beaten us to completing it! I will be borrowing your idea of champagne when we finally achieve it! Sarah :)
Hi guys,in my opinion, your cornish walking trails are so interesting to watch, the rugged cliffs stretching along as far as the naked eye can see, The sounds of the wild blue green waves, thundering against the rocks below, with unabating perpetual motion, clear blue sky, sunshine shimmering on the horizon, undulating sea ,relentlessly rolling onto the shore beautiful white surf dissipating before your very eyes, It's so awesome to see the stunning scenery all around you, different land marks ,you come across off the beaten track, It's particularly charming, the name given to the kissing gates, definitely a lovely location for a vacation, tony and joan
Another lovely , varied walk guys.... gardens, headland and beautiful bays and beaches!! can't ask for more really.... and circular!! Our kind of walk!! (That must have been some pampered pig!! )👍❤😊
Thanks for another entertaining video - lovely walk, one of my favourites! It's brilliant that Mt Edgcumbe gardens are free -they're so lovely, and we usually park up at the church, which is also free!
Well hello Sarah and “Anchorman “ Andrew, wow what an amazing walk ,thank you so much !Just beautiful views from every angle, and that monument for Cupid, that is some serious love for her pet ,lol! Hope those precious fur boys are well, my Lyla is doing great but Gracie is having her ups and downs! Three more weeks of school left for our kiddos ,yay!! I am ready for summer break as I’m sure your ready for some warmer weather as well, Have a fantastic weekend and I send lots of happiness, Lori
Plymouth is so near but a million miles away in every respect.I was talking to a Plymouth boy the other day who as a van driver had to deliver to the Rame peninsula. He told me that he had never been here and had never really heard of the placenames! I've actually met many Plymothians like that.A woman i knew once where i used to work was a Devonporter and she 'very strongly' referred to herself as Cornish, some over there do.And in respect of Plymouth,it is in Devon but it is very much a Cornish city in it's real old population. You'd be hard pressed to find an established Plymouth family that doesn't have Cornish roots, they're probably more Cornish in their bloodline than many who live in Cornwall today! Stonehouse and St.Budeaux on the Plymouth side used to be part of Cornwall once upon a time too.@ 4.31,that is Barn pool. It is said that HMS Beagle was moored there just before it set sail for the Galapagos and Charles Darwin spent his last day in this country walking the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe. That crossing at Cremyll is a very old one,Cremyll comes from the Cornish for 'crooked pool' you probably noticed the currents where a few tides all meet. It's a beautiful walk for sure, lot's of hidden gems on this forgotten peninsula.
Hi Andy, I used to work with a lady that lived in Saltash but was a committed Plymouth Argyle fan. She used to make pasties to take to the match! Andrew used to take James to watch the occasional match and there was always a strong Cornish contingent! Sarah :)
Hi both, lovely walk and views, thanks for taking us with you, it is surprising how quick a six mile walk can go, especially when it’s so enjoyable with such lovely scenery! Thanks for sharing 😀👍💕
This walk has to be my favourite to date. (I keep saying that) but, this is a super interesting video with some interesting and glorious scenery to boot........I have been to Mt Edgcombe but, many years ago but never ventured any further so this was especially interesting to me. I have your videos on a Friday morning and so looking forward to seeing your fun walks (keep them coming) 10/10 from me.
Oh that was a lovely area with interesting buildings and pretty flowers 😊 And I like Sarah's hat with Norwegian pattern 😄 Looking forward to explore the area in 20 21. Thank you for sharing. Torunn 😀
We have filmed our first book release as part of our Cotehele visit! Looking through the clips, it is quite funny!! so make sure you look out for the video, probably mid June by the time I finalise the edit! Great scheme and we have received our order of 25 bags and I have dug out some old, brilliant books to release - watch this space! We will post on Instagram too! Sarah :)
If I could leave NWI (Indiana, USA) for a Cornwall Walk, I would!! It looks beautiful! Thanks for sharing! With such calming voices and a "corny" sense of humor you two make these videos a joy to watch! (I do wonder if you have walked near Polkinghorne Manor, yet?? It is part of my ancestry and I am so curious!!) Good "Lucky" to you both!
Another great walk thank you Sarah & Andrew, and so quiet at this time your - our type of walk! It was very interesting to see so many follies and fabulous views, although John thinks Anchorman Andrew's jokes are getting more ropey!
Used to go so many times with our dogs but sadly cannot drive far now. Sat outside the orangery after a walk for cream tea. Did a painting of the hill folly but it wasn't very good.!
Wow, that was a marathon one! Your Friday videos are something to look forward to at the end of each week. Very interesting walk this time with all the follies along the way. But I could hear your tummies rumbling from here!! You must have been starving at the end of it! This is the pub where you stayed in another video recently I think & had a walk in the dark around the area? J x
Tut Tut, you 2 are slipping ,there was no food consumed on this walk, after 6 miles you should both be ravenous. Super film as ever and thank you for making and sharing it.
I think we were so distracted by follies that we missed this! We will be returning the Mount Edgcumbe later this year to take a look inside the house. The house was bombed during WWII and the family moved up river to Cotehele for a while, may be that was when the terrace gardens were abandoned, not sure, just thinking out loud really! Sarah :)
I was very concerned about your video as you had not introduced any references to metal detecting on the beaches or the pathways and fields, please can you rectify this on your next video

Do you Know anything about the, what looks like abandoned terraced gardens after passing the viewing platform in the grounds of Mt Edgecumbe
I think we were so distracted by follies that we missed this! We will be returning the Mount Edgcumbe later this year to take a look inside the house. The hedge maybe laurel but it's certainly hardy lol
LOL! Funniest comment of the week!!! Sarah :)

I have no idea what you are commenting on! Do you have the wrong channel. We don’t even own metal detecting stuff! Lol!
