    Bass drum sounds like a tr505.

    I want to love it but it sounds so Tin and thin meh 🫤 and that snare is weak

    Reminds me of the Tanzmaus in a more advanced shell.

    Ive got a crazy concept of drum machines. By the way this is an excellent one, I have one. But when trying to fake guitar on a keyboard to make it realistic never go outside the lines of what a single guitar can do. A saxophone has to be mono with expression, etc… but drum machines are a eurorack feeling. Unless you’re imitating a band drummer, go wild! I always thought these all should be semi modular. Just my opinion! Great video!

    The ability to import your own sounds and save kits seems very powerful.

      I have an AKAI Force. This sounds good, but it’s a toy in comparison.

    600 quid worth, probably not. Two years from now for four, maybe.

    Love the sound of the machine, pity about the high pitch whine that seems to be on almost all units. Deal breaker for me.

    can u change the analog kick with a sample on that channel so you dont lose other sample channel? Kick is desaster, also the other analog parts sounds not that great for me

    • @MarcusSchmahl
      @MarcusSchmahl  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No - this is not possible. Kick is an analog channel - nothing else.

      Try the kick with less drive on its own output.... Certainly on my behringer rd8 the kick sounds better on its own output

      To me this drummachine reminds me of the lazy volca beats + sample combined and thats not a compliment. As you said i really dont like how bad the analog part sounds too. That fails and i wouldnt spend so much money on a drummachine i make a turn around half of its abilities.
      Design wonderful, Sound awful.

      Yes, the kick sounds like an acoustic bassdrum. So lame. They should have implemented to Volca Kick... Definitely kills the machine

    Better sampling than the tr-08’s

    64 steps is way to few to record elaborated triolet patterns. Do you know a drum machine which has more steps? I don't mean regular drum-machine with sub-menus. I mean a KNOB drum-machine... I only see the Tempest.

      yes true. Usually it should be easy nowadays to integrate a much more versatile und extensive sequencer to a machine like that.

    Does that kick drum have reverb on it? This sound is confusing my ear, it sounds offsynchronized somehow

    The basedrum is shit. Is this really all what the drumlogue is able to do??

  • @zyxyuv1650
    @zyxyuv1650 ปีที่แล้ว

    I haven't seen any video where someone was even able to create a usable kick drum with a Drumlogue. They all sound like the kick is made out of jello and fading in with some ridiculously weird slow attack phase, so that the sub bass and attack don't even fit together and it makes this weird galloopy feeling while the delayed sub bass catches up with the already slow transient part. Really odd, not usable. Actually it might be usable for some kind of jello music.
