Father Demos, could you please explain the scripture that talks about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and how the Holy Spirit is in our lives now? I saw something somewhere that in the Bible we are first shown God, then Jesus (the son) and now the Holy Spirit is with us or protecting us or something to that effect. I wanted to understand a bit more about the Holy Spirit and what is known about the Holy- Trinity. Rejoice, Christ is Risen!
Rejoice, Christ is risen, the triumphant church, the heavenly church existed before the ages of ages, then came the militant church I think I read somewhere , so we have two types of churches the heavenly and the earthly, is this right understanding
Truly He is Risen! Rejoice! Yes, so the church is One, but as you say, the Church Triumphant refers to those who are already experiencing the glory of God in the after life, and the Church militant, those who are alive and are awaiting to join the Triumphant church. During the Divine Liturgy the Church unites, Heaven and earth meet. Also as you say, the Church existed before time and creation.
