That's why you have to be focused on what you are trying to achieve and not get caught up in perception or viewing yourself to highly. Keith Sweat could have said "I'm a Wall Street guy. I'm not going to the projects and playing in a dice game with kids." But he recognized Teddy's talent despite his age or where he was it. And they ended up making timeless music. I always bumped "Right and a Wrong Way".

Keith should be interviewed. Let him explain what happen with the album, when Teddy actually got involved, Gene Griffin muscling him to get Teddy's name on the album. I want her he added/cleaned up the beats on that song. The vast majority of the album was already done. Go listen to a Keith interview he will tell how Don't stop your love with his demo. Gene Griffin muscled him on the album production credits, let's chill, just got paid and some of those other earlier songs that Teddy was credited as being the producer and writter. This is not saying Teddy is not an excellent producer or take anything away from him as a legend. Keith had to pay Bill Underwood to get Gene Griffin off of him.

Keith didn't go from singing in night clubs, getting an ingie deal, to producing his first album. TR was the producer Keith needed to make it work.
