Thank you for your videos. I've been following.for years your videos, since mma vs taichi. I,'ve seen you practing taichi, xingyi and bagua, and always been blown away by your great level. I admire you and learn from you. Thank you from your generosity.

Mostly a big fan of what you do. But this time you lost me. I have no idea what the 5 elements in Tai Chi is according to you, or what you actually wanted to say with this video. That Star Trek fits into the wuxing? :/
Well done. You were obviously listening. It has taken me 40 years to misunderstand the five elements as well as I do. It would take me weeks or months to put together a comprehensive video on the implications of the five elements in tai chi. It would be several hours long and there would be limited value. I think that the 6 degrees focus is the most relevant to the most people. I find that much of the elaborate theory involving the Wuxing is counterproductive in 95% of the cases. But the 6 degrees of freedom idea is helpful from the beginning in 95% of students.
So much knowledge to absorb here. Mr. Ian Sinclair should have the status of a Living Treasure.
Seconded. 🖖

I'm starting your easy to learn form and it is quite the experience. Very challenging for just relaxing.
You missed the Taijinium in the periodic table!... Great vide Ian, thanks!
Master Ian! Please make a video about Song quality in Taijiquan, this is a very interesting topic and I am sure you have something to share with us.
Heisenberg compensators: Blown

Watching this for the third time and I know less than before I even started... Just... what?!?!?!
Egghead stuff but it's pretty good.
That’s funny ... I wasn’t really listening, yet, I had this strange feeling of understanding come over me.
Did you just use rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock in TCM theory?? Duuuuude
Haha, yes, it is a code like ancient texts or shakespeare. Anatomy is more objective.
Ok, what I've learnt in this vid : 5=6
