This unit costs about R22 000. It does not last through 4 hours of loadshedding if you run any device with a 350 to 400 watt output. The spare battery is separate. It does charge fast though. But for anybody needing this to power an essential medical device, like an O2 concentrator. Consider buying 2 cheaper inverters. The price is NOT worth it.
Hey Leigh, yes it wouldn’t last 4 hours while powering a 400W device, it’s only a 1kwh inverter. I think what makes it worth it for me is the charge speed and cycle, plus the noise is very low and you can add on solar panels and batteries and stuff. I know people who charge 600Wh inverters for about 5-6 hours, that’s just wild.

i saw a couple videos of where they test the switch over when the AC poweer\Grid goes offline. They complain its too long and the PC wont still be online when the power switch happens to battery but i know they got beta samples which had alot of issues. what happens on your PC & monitor , etc does it stay on
So it’s not a UPS, it’s an EPS, so there’s a bit of a delay between when power goes off and when it kicks in, that’s mainly cause it wasn’t designed for that. I usually connect my setup AFTER load shedding

How many watts is your tv? and wifi? Just my desktop gaming pc running with delta 2, just gaming last about 3 hours. Now if I watch videos or browsing desktop about 7 to 8 hours.
@dandon1105 You would have to either find a adaptor or transfer switch for your house, unless you get DC light bulbs that can plug in by usb, or 12v plug.

If you have an iPhone go to the App Store or if you have an android go to google play and search for Ecoflow and download it. Once you open it, make sure the inverter is on and just open the app, it will start searching, it might ask you to create an account first though 😉

Yes, get a qualified electrician to modify your main switch so that you can have a long extension cord connected to the housing lights circuit and plug it straight to the power station.

Yeah I’d say so, but it depends on the game I’m playing and how heavy it is, my rig has a 650W power supply
