  • Using the Massey Ferguson 245 and scissor lift hay spear in place of a loader tractor. It’s works decently well! Also loading with the Kubota M6060 and trucking with the International S1654 with 6.9 idi diesel.

    This war going on in Ukraine is really killing us in the USA with all the increasing prices of fuel and everything else. And even after the war when that will happen will things get better. Great video there,Ben!

    • @khtractors
      @khtractors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the war is part of the problem with fuel and the majority is greed and the going green agenda fueling fuel prices. There is no way right now I could even begin to buy what equipment I have with today’s prices. Something has to change or all of us working people will be broke. Thanks for watching!

    Just curious what height you have the baler set at. The bales don't look like a full 5 feet? Maybe just my perception.
    Also, with the 4707 showing up in another video, just wait (And it WILL happen sooner than you think) until there are little people running around calling you "Grampaw". A buddy seat is as essential as a steering wheel!

    • @khtractors
      @khtractors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bale 4x4 bales, it’s what sales the best here in my area. I didn’t want the smaller 1734 baler because they have and will turn over here. I’ve repaired a few at school that were rolled over.
      The buddy seat is nice! With price increases my chances of ever owning a cab tractor is slim. Unless I hit the big times on TH-cam 😆! Thanks for watching!

    Great video.Was hoping to see that f150 pull out with that load. We love that you "don't" cover the sounds of the engines with music.

    • @khtractors
      @khtractors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That load is all the F150 wants going up a hill. I try to not use music excessively because I too like hearing the equipment running. Especially the Massey’s. Thanks for watching!

      We have a "Lady" that we get sometimes to help us move 4x6 rounds from the big field 15 miles away...... We Give her a 5115 M with a Loader and spear on the front and a spear on the rear.... That way when she is not loading, she can be collecting and putting them in groups of 25 (a trailer load) But where she excells in loading.... she can load 2 trailer in 30 minutes or less!!!!

    You’re right, it’s hard to beat an M series Kubota for general utility work. They are big enough to farm with and still small enough to get through the woods. I know for a fact, you operate yours so smooth that someone that didn’t know better would think ol it was hydrostatic lol. I could say the same thing about that MF 245. By the way, I agree with the one poster who marveled at the reach of your spear on the back of it. I’ll add that the weight of it sure offset the weight of the bale on back. I was actually surprised it didn’t lift the front tires a bit.

    • @khtractors
      @khtractors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The maneuverability of an M series is great, that’s what I like. That rear spear and 245 makes a good combination! Appreciate you watching!
