I've noticed with the FX guns have a higher shot count and a lot more FPE as compared to other air rifles. For example the FX Impact. The impact Mark 3 with a 700 mm Barrel shooting I think it was 32 grain or 34 grain slugs has a shot count of about 70 to 80 shots per fill and the energy/ FPE is very high at 89. I think the Mark 4 has even more FPE at 100. The only other gun that I've seen that has these numbers is the Skout. Do you know of any other guns besides the FX and the Skout that has these numbers?
@surreallife777 There is a lot that goes into shot count. Size of airtank is a big one. Plus the newer guns have bigger plenums and more efficient valves. The high FPE you are seeing is due mainly to the efficiency of the valves and plenum sizes. I own 1 FX and I will say it's a decent gun but I would take my Brocock, EVOL, Leshiy2, BSA or AirArms over an FX. Now with that said I do want two more FX airguns, the Wildcat III bottle with short barrel and the new FX DRS Pro. Also it would be a close run with my RTi guns. Now as far as shot count I've seen guns with high shot counts but not the power but also not the configurations that the FX have. I know that was all around what you asked but honestly that's a question that needed a more in depth answer.
I feel you man I feel you on making videos it is time consuming and everybody thinks that we are like paid to do this and it's a job when it's just me taking the time to show people some of the things that I enjoy and I think you do the same keep up the good work I enjoy your videos.

I like both calibers also, but a 22cal will take care of business. I only use (HP) ammo and I shot a raccoon at about 40 yrds using the H&N Terminator and it left no question to be asked. The gun I used was my FX Crown MKll with a 380 barrel shooting between 925/930 fps with the 16 grain terminators. Dropped like a ton of bricks !!! Will be using my Impact MK3 in 25 cal when hunting season starts

I just never got into shooting slugs, myself. I've dabbled, but I haven't found any real advantage to them. If I was using my air guns for hunting, that might change.

Since they are supposed to be more accurate at long distance I would like to find something my gun shoots that I don't have to change my tune for. I know that's kinda reaching but hopefully I can find something. Now if I shot like you, I probably wouldn't care about slugs either. LOL But everybody can't shot long distance like that.
All the fun is trying different ammo. Slugs like speed and different twist rates. And it depends on the distances you prefer.. Target or hunting or both. 😮 I write everything down especially the speeds. Enjoy

i hate what yt is doing to us, making us upload instead of being able to livestream and shoot the airguns. i found that using the camera app on my laptop to video with i can pause and resume and that cuts alot of the editing out and i throw the end video file on a thumbdrive and brindg it to my desktop and then upload to yt as an instant premier and i can be in chat while the video is playing. and if i want to do a live stream on a issue not holding the airgun and shooting it well i can. secondly i can mount my camera to my airgun so yt does not see me holding or shooting they just see down the barrel and what i am shooting at. and then i can unmount the cam(i have it so it slides onto my pick rail)and position the cam to view me and the airgun while i am not shooting and holding it. believe me i understand the frustration and how it is not as fun. made me not want to make video for a bit. try not to be discouraged my friend. make the having fun part your safe space, also making a bunch of short videos and having them on like a laptop and plug a webcam into a separate computer and aim camera at the laptop screen and play the videos in sequence from the laptop cuts out editing alot. you can even livestream and show a video while livestreaming and yt shouldnt mess with ya as long as the cam is showing you and the laptop screen with fullscreen video playing but that is how i have to do it since i do not know how to share and i happen to have a laptop and desktop both. good luck and sending emotional suppor and uplifting energy cause you need some. be blessed all year longt
@@bluecollarsportsman613 hmmm well in repeater you have the aea hp ss max and even if you get the .35cal bintac sells barrel kits (barrel bolt, pin, and a mag) for $199 each so you can get .45cal or .51 cal in barrel lengths from 5 inches to 22 inches and add a externally adjustable regulator to that platform also get two barrel kits and you have two mags and an extra bolt(file one of the bolts a couple mm and the mags insert like challenger mags just from the left instead of the right) (for woke left haha) i am trying to find out if the kits are compatible with the s45 so there is an semi-auto option. but i myself plan on buying a .45cal hp ss max with a 13 inch barrel and 300 cc tank and then getting two different .51 cal barrels the 22 and the 7 inch which gives me a total of 2 .45 mags and a bolt and 2 .51cal mags two barrels two bolts and pins and i am also going to find a 500cc front tank for it and a regulator, or maybe two regs they screw on to the place the tank does so you remove tank , add reg and screw tank onto the reg in sequence. does tha satisfy the crowd you wish to. my hp standard custom edition .25cal has already had that bolt mod done on it so the mags insert and remove like challenger mags not hp ones having to hold that bolt back sucked so i made a solution bolt mod. now my hp standard shoots regulated at 70-75 fpe and gives me 30 shots on a fil l. doubt it is as good as the air rifle you have there , but then again it only cost me $580 . another $170 for an accessory rail and some more for 15 round extended mags to go next to the 10 shot stock mags. i just wish it were semi-auto. but i will build another cool rifle to satisfy that need. say are you trying to get the woke crowd to buy air guns? or just give them something lead heavy to think about. smiles cause they are nuts trying to take the firearms when this whole market of airguns is something they cannot regulate past the gerondoni air rifle louis and clark took across the continent in 1803. 46 cal , 22 round gravity fed mag repeater that was pcp and filled with an air pump ... that is airgun history so that along with the supreme court decision in bruen the woke crowd cant really touch air guns without facing 2A lawsuits. so no worries my friend. that is why i use the 51 cal it gives them pause and when i call the local pd and tell them i am shooting air guns in theback yard and one of them is a 51 cal they dont even bat an eyelash just tell me its all good. but sometimes i get cops still and they only ask if i am shooting a firearm and i explain that no i only shoot air rifles in my back yard and do they want to see them. and they say no they trust me( i am an ex multi felon bro, 11 felonies a quarter century ago and over 400 misdemeanors. and the cops trust me to shoot a 51 cal in my back yard. wtf. even i am agast at it...
Know this is off subject, but just wondering if SG is doing OK. Tried to look back over some of his old videos and saw they had been removed. Last I heard he was doing a lot of fishing, and before that he had a stroke. Miss his videos and the man himself. Learned a lot from his videos, and also from your videos. I'm hoping he just decided to take a break and his health is good. Would love to go on a Iguana hunt with you guys one day in Florida. Always concern about my fellow bros in the PCP game. Probably not to many of us or they could be like myself and don't know the first thing about recording/making videos. lol

He is fishing but said that his personal relaxation time so no videos. I think we all learned alog from SG. You can always say hello to him in the comments.
