Oh man, just got one of these and kinda regretting it. Sorry I know this vid is old.
    - Beautiful car but if I sneeze, a part falls off of mine. I can fix that but the other issues are rough.
    - Coupler height. Removing the metal washers helps but it may require a set of low profile trucks and/or 33" wheels to help get that down. This kinda undoes the whole "prototype accurate" aspect of these cars, but a car that doesn't run well is worse.
    - The derailing issue. The leading wheelset on each truck barely touches the rail on mine so the slightest tip lifts that flange right over the rail.
I am pondering filing an angle on the bolster to encourage the wheels to settle but that's tricky if you get it wrong.
Another idea is to attempt to force a bow into the deck pushing the ends down slightly, also helping with the coupler height issue some. But that sounds like hours of fixing detail parts that pop off.
    - There is no room for added weight without destroying the beautiful underside detail or adding a weighted load. It needs a metal center beam or other parts to get it up to weight being a flatcar.
I'm going to ponder this a while, but I may scrap the details that aren't visible from the side and install fitted hidden weight and try to flex the deck a bit.
It would still be a good looking car.
Resale is already blown from all the rework I've already done trying to get it on the rails.
Love my other ExactRail cars though :(

Out of all rolling stock I have, this is by far the worst coupler height issue iv had.

Oh, yeah, I was wondering if anyone else had this issue as well. I recently bought it and would have probably not it if I had known about this. Also, does anyone else's flatcar have titling issues? Mine does for some reason and keeps on tilting in one direction.

Yes it's scaletrains locomotive and no it's not the locomotives, my intermountains has sane issue with it. exactrail has known issues with coupler height problems with the bulkhead flat car.

I forgot to mention I did order kadee height gauge and nmra gauge as well. I never needed them because I never had any issues with any rolling stock until now.

@@TorryGood Yeah, they are really nice looking cars, that coupler problem needs to be resolved. Is your cars frame warped down, cause that was part of thevreason why the coupler height was so jacked up?

@@kyleftw1679 is that an issue on the 1 side? I was able to get 1 side down but the other side is still little height. I don't want to keep messing with it without kadee height gauge.

@@TorryGood At around 00:12 the deck of the car looks slightly bent up, maybe it's an illusion from the camera angle.
