Two things come to mind please? Can you use it with a normal lead clip system i.e. not inline? Secondly, with all these rigs ejecting the lead, how many tons of weights do you think there are on the bottom of the lakes around Britain? Surely there are that many leads on the bottom now, the carp must be used to seeing leads everywhere so not scared of them. What do you think? Tight lines.
Hey Jason, thanks for your comment. I think you're talking about a lead clip system? Using a normal lead clip system isn't ideal, you want the lead and rig to sit nicely inside the PVA bag which you cant do with a normal lead clip system. The way I'm fishing here allows the lead to be ejected, you can push them on harder so they don't drop off all the time, but they will when its really weedy or you get snagged, which is great for fish safety, much like the lead clip system.
Inside a PVA bag the bait is covering the lead so in this case they don't even really see them. But you're right there's probably many many leads in lakes across Britain!

Well done 👏
Thank you, Mrs🪝😆
Great tactic all year round, my go to before applying any bait
I agree @Golly19, you just can't go wrong! Good luck if you're out soon 🎣

Great film as always. I have tried PVA bags for a couple of time, but i have som problem casting them properly. what test curve do you use
Thank you Steffen, they can be a bit tricky to cast at times! It takes a bit of practice... I'm using 3.25lb test curve with a small streamlined PVA bag. Let us know how you get on next time! 🎣
Great video guys! I’m just getting into carp fishing after a long layoff, could you let me know what rods & reels you’re using…many thanks & tight lines 🎣🐠
Hey Declan, thank you! great to hear that you're getting back into it, that's what we love to hear!
I'm using the 12ft Advanta MRP rods 3.25lb test curve (www.anglingdirect.co.uk/advanta-discovery-mrp-fishing-rods) paired with the Shimano Ultergra 5500 (www.anglingdirect.co.uk/shimano-ultegra-xtd-fishing-reel)
Good luck to you Declan, and let us know how you get on! 🎣

Amanda
Thanks for your reply Amanda, it was much appreciated! Hopefully I can make it look as easy as you do in time!
I'd get some carbon/ice washers for those reels it transforms them🎣🎣
Pva bags work a treat...were u using fluorocarbon mainline?
Glad you agree Gavin, Its such a great method. Here I'm using the Korda Long chuck monofilament line. A bit overkill here but its great for when I'm on the bigger lakes too.

Amanda 🎣
Hello, what is the name of the stick or where can I get it? thanks a greeting and very good video 👍

Great video and tactics, but unrealistic, everyone knows both bite alarms go off at the same time as soon as you start to make food or a brew or a toilet break.😂😂😂
Thank,s Robert😂😂 this is very true! usually, I have a mouthful of food when the bite alarm goes off, not that I eat a lot when I'm carp fishing or anything!
Tight Lines!,
Amanda
Why don’t you tell us the weights??
Hey Trevor, I didn't weigh them, only the big one! That was 25lb. :)

Amanda
