    Amazing build. I never use those finishing tapes that come along with tha handlebar tape. Regular electric tape is so much cleaner looking.

    Is that crank the one that has an aluminum shaft? If yes, then that would eventually break due to metal fatigue. I think a channel called Trace Velo tested that.
    Also, building a carbon bike without using a torque wrench? Good luck 👍

      In Trace Velo's latest video on this crankset he said they've changed to a steel shaft. Just hope that OP bought the newer version

    About what I paid for my Triban RC500 from Decathlon (which is pretty damn good after I fixed their build teams mistakes)
    I intend to do a lightweight carbon build when I outgrow it though, Velobuild do a sexy looking frameset with fully internal cabling that I have my eye on, thanks for the video!

    Hello can you link the type of frame that you used? I like the visible carbon weave on yours but the ones I see are matte black or have a dif geometry. Thank you!

      Hey I can't link the exact frame however if you head over to Ali Express you will be able to find one that is the same or near enough.

      @@builtbypi2276 The groupset took the longest to arrive as I had to wait for customs to clear it. I think it took around 2months, which was a massive shock to me.

    Niiice build! How's the Sensah Empire groupset holding? Is it true that it performs as something between 105 and Ultegra? I saw a video advertising them like that

      Thats a perfect way of describing it. It doesn't look the best however the performance is great and i have done around 150miles on it now and had zero issues. It feels great

    Watching these is making me want to take the plunge and buy an ali express frame. I'm thinking of Delihea (similar to an SL6/7).Great video fella.

      If you have the patience to wait for all the parts to arrive then take the plunge. The value for money is great. I am going to do a review of the road bike soon once I have surpassed 1000miles, keep an eye out. cheers

      @TV The frame took around 13 days and it was the group-set that took the longest. I am building another one now and it’s not arrived yet it’s been 1month now

    Any update on the bike? I am currently building one up w some baller wheels I found tubeless on FB. BSA cranks tho :/. I have found some bikes on aliexpress for 360 total USD, where'd you find this one so cheap?

      Yes you have to pay custom fees on import

      @@henrysummerside5158 I know that you have to pay custom duty on imports but from jan 2021 you now have to pay 20% VAT on the purchase. Either you pay at the checkout or at the point of entry in the country

    nice video man. did you weigh the bike once it was built or just add up the advertised weights? when I built my chinese frame the actual weight ended up being 800 grams more than I calculated. Would be impressed if you got 7.0kg for such a low price!

      The total weight is 7.3kg I have weighed the full bike with pedals. The wheels are incredibly light I saved a lot of money and weight with them.

    Awesome video, Have you done any riding review on this bike after your build? Any issues with the carbon strength, structure etc? Would love to know how you are getting on with the bike? Thanks

      The frame is incredibly strong, I have been on a couple long rides and it has held up well. The bike is great on the climbs and is very quick down hills. I have had no problems with the bike yet and will be doing a in depth review once I get passed 1000 miles.

      Hey dude type in Aliexpress on your search bar. It is basically the Chinese version of amazon, you can then find all the parts you need and build a carbon road bike. I have the parts i used in the description bellow.

    I built a bike all carbon however it’s came up for 9kg with 58mm depth wave wheel set hub R13. Ultegra R8000 GS. I thought I built a 7kg bike 🥲

      Make do with what you have. The whole point of the build was to show people how they can build a bike with the bare minimal. Hence building my own bottom bracket press 👍🏻
