  • In this video, Christian Damm will give you a short introduction on how to set up an ergonomic position in relation to your sim racing pedals.
Christian has been in motorsports for more than five years. Among others, he was with Ferrari as a part of their Engineering Academy in their ERS (Energy Recovery System) department for the Ferrari F1 team.
If you’re a passionate sim racer, you probably spend a great amount of time in your rig. Therefore, you should consider your position in the seat, and how you bend your knees, so you can perform better when sim racing.

Many people don't use the clutch and want to use their left foot to brake. You must allow the brake pedal to be moved left for a more natural position, especially true for long races. Please tell the product people to allow the brake to move freely to the left and detached from accelerator.

I do wish they made them all separate, would have given people more mounting options too (like having clutch\brake inverted, like most road cars and a lot of race cars). Wonder why they decided on this design.

For example….. I like the fanatec v3 brake but the accelerator needs to be inverted

We have tested the Invicta pedals with MANY racers and the distance between the pedals has not come up as an issue despite it being locked between the pedal arms.
However, it is possible to reposition the pedals plates themselves so they are further apart. So there is adjustability if you need it :)

@@1337Hans We decided on this design, but pedals in a real race car are not inverted, and they are at a 90-degree angle as well.
We want sim racers to be able to come as close as possible to the feeling of real racing. That may not be for all and for some, inverted may more "comfortable", but it's not real racing, and that is what we're trying to achieve :)

@@AsetekSimSports That's not really accurate though, lots of road car based race cars still have inverted pedals, even the newest 992 cup car is configured like this. Honestly its not a big deal still looks good, just seemed like it would have been easy to make them separated for more flexibility.

Hate a 3 pedal setup because your left leg is closer to the right than it's natural position.
And heel toeing in a Sim chair is like playing a game of Twister.
I'm sure it would feel more natural in a real car.

Nobody talks about lower back angle to pedal height ratio. In real sports/ race cars the lower back is extremely angled to allow the seat to be so low. I see many people sitting on the floor at the same level as their pedals, but with a budget upright seat. I've even tried this and it injured my back. For an example look at F1 cars; to have the pedals so high in relation to the seat, they need to recline the lower back so far, drivers are practically lying down.

So what is the solution for a more flat seat ?

    • @divinasi0n
      @divinasi0n 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

@Kpaxlol a) raise the seat, b) lower the pedals, or c) just buy a higher end seat 🙂
If I were to do it again or upgrade I would buy a bucket seat purpose built for sim racing instead of a bucket seat made for a real car, because real car seats don't seem to have shoulder/ head support due to the space left for a helmet! The Next Level Racing seat I've seen some content creators use looks good - but I haven't tried it.

When will these ship? i preordered a couple months back and it only said Q1 2022 for shipping then. Is there new information now that several content creators have gotten their pedals for review?

    • @AsetekSimSports

Hi Marcus. Initial shipping of pre-orders will start from March 1st. Right now it's only select reviewers that have gotten the pedals. When we are ready to ship your order specifically, we'll send you an email asking you to confirm your billing info. Once we get that, we will ship the pedals to you.
I hope that helped clarify. And thank you for pre-ordering! :)
      /Martin
