Another good video. I like the speed at which you work, not too fast, so folks get to really follow along. Great ingenuity

That mechanism you made is often called the widowmaker. Good thing them springs aren't crazy strong

Thanks for the great video! i wonder if thesprings need some lube on them. I have the 68 CT 90 and the rea4 spring squeeze horribly

Haha. I think you got autocorrected. It took me awhile, but I figured out that you meant to write "rear springs squeak horribly". You will have to do some PI work to figure out where the squeak is coming from.

So basically they are just crap. Great video regardless

Bruce, kinda surprised you did not mention whether or not there is oil or an oil seal that can be changed (or needs to be changed) on this particular shock?

These are all the parts. I guess it's not quite as sophisticated as you were expecting. But this is a 1967 model.

@@SoCalBruce Wow, thought for sure they would have oil in the body to help dampen the spring action but I guess it's just bouncing along in those years. Thanks!

The part that I was showing is a combination shock and spring. But I don't see any way to disassembly the shock part. And I don't see that any spare parts are available for it. I assume that if the shock goes bad, you just get a new one. Sorry, but that's all I know about this part. Perhaps your local Honda dealer can give you more information.

@@SoCalBruce Thanks Bruce. I did shoot a short video on the cylinder head and why some only show using one valve stem seal (I had asked you prior about that) and do mention your vid's in mine being more in depth if people need full build info.
