- Primrose Valley holiday park. Just like all or most caravan parks around the UK this one is closed until further notice. This is just one Holiday park in the area that would normally be thriving with tourists.
Drone flight carried out whilst on my daily exercise, April 2020.

My family has a caravan so we go like everyday
I'm guessing these holidays either didn't happen, or almost nothing was the same as a usual holiday at PV.
Personally as someone who went in the 90's I am so gutted to see my former holiday destination turn into what it Is. We never had this amount of caravans before, yet some how there's no only 2 entertainment rooms and not 3? Yes haven entertainment is less than what it used to be, but it's getting to the point primrose valley has lost what it used to be (a former Haven Flagship Park) and now it's something beyond any reasonable size.
I dunno, I look at this and I don't see progress, I just see a reason to be sad. No more tiger club kids, no more HavenMates, PV is now a corporate machine designed to make money like it was never intended to.

Hi, yes very weird seeing it empty. Yes I can do Thornwick but will have to wait till the virus has passed and were allowed to travel again

Bloody hell I went there in 76 it was next door to Butlins which looked like a bloody military camp lol!
Haha the RAF took over butlin's in WWII. Butlin wangled a deal with the RAF to pay for the construction of the huts and at the end of the war was given back :)
Nicks Exploration bloody hell I didn’t know that I just remember climbing through the fence from Primrose Valley somewhere near that entertainment building I think and it was like a ghost town and it really did look rough lol. So what happened was it demolished in the end? Did PV buy the land up?
@@buffplums yes it was all demolished. I'm not sure if primrose valley bought all the land or not but I do believe part of primrose now sits on the old butlin's site. There's a little holiday village built on the rest of butlin's which is called The Bay now.
