Those of us who are coaches recognize the importance of the passers. When I run my tryouts, I focus on getting the best passers. The best hitters are obvious, setting is a little more subjective. Russ Rose of Penn State says you need your best passers passing, your best setters setting and your best hitters hitting....in that order or it doesn't work.
