I used to own Activa when it was launched for the first time in 2002 and it was a pure beast. When you drive in a kaccha road most of the 2 wheelers available at that time used to shake a lot but Activa was built different . It never shake irrespective of the condition of the road and the looks back then was really cool. Now I own a Suzuki Access SE and I am very happy with it and planning to buy another one. The performance, the smoothness while driving is amazing and if you do servicing regularly on time, the scooter doesnt give any problem.

I have both,
Active is more of monotonous speed and smooth, like a river going in smooth velocity, But when you are immediately cornered in a traffic and need power to overtake an auto rickshaw blocking your way and a 4 wheeler to its side, and few more vehicles honking behind you, Access is your monster you desperately need there to blast your way out from that position. (You can literally feel the monster roaring under your seat)

But here we are comparing a 8.7 ps Access to a 8.3 ps Activa. Definitely there is a difference between a horse and a monster. (Monster because of Roar when throttling up)

Suzuki Access makes sense, I drove both of them back to back. Clearly Access was fun to ride engine remains smooth and composed even at 80 kmph, while Activa was smooth but bit more commuterish and felt nervous beyond 60 kmph.
But still you are not gonna wrong with any of these.

You can go for the Drum Brakes variant if tight on budget, as long as you won't be driving at higher speeds (70+ kmph) and brake too often, where Disk Brake comes handy. Just make sure this variant has LED headlight (new model), as some dealers might have older models with halogen headlamp.

I like activa but riding quality is far better in access. I personally used both. Activa 1 year k baad thoda vibration hota hai, turant speed nahi pakad te.par access main koi vibration nahi hota aur turant speed pakad leti hai aur maja ajata hai fun to ride hai pura. Par durability Activa me jyada hai.. main ne 2 bar accident kia kuch nahi tuta siwaye dent aye the kuch.😂
Very confusing hai decide karna en dono me.. dono best hai.. jisko jo pasand aye lelo. But i prefer access.. kuch v ho ride karte wakt maja ana chahiye.

My friend has access and I own activa and Jupiter 125… I only did the free service and still my scooters are gem, no vibrations and are silent. Access is completely different story. When ever I use my friends vehicle I notice considerable amount of sound and vibration. But one thing, access is always faster. So smoothness or speed should be the choosing factor.

Sir both scooty have eco light indication if you drive around 40-50 and not hard revv the acclerator eco light glows but not have a separate eco mode that minimise the power

Hello for first time scooty rider if your running is normal and don’t want any powerful acceleration go with activa because access is a great product with nice mileage power acceleration but also have starting problem which I don’t recommend because first time buyers need to have a tension free ride rather than go to service centre so go for activa 125

Recently i purchaed access . I filled petrol full but when it reached 150 km petrol pump ⛽ logo started blinking . So i think average is 30 to 35 kms. Does anyone getting same average ?
Initially, the average might be low due to the engine being new, but after 1st and 2nd service, the average comes well above 45.

No brother u didn’t do any mistake avenis have same engine as access and burgman and its a powerful engine but in future if you face starting problem pls check the fuel pump and brother buy extended warranty it costs you around 700-800 and congratulations for your new ride ✌🏻❤️
