I have been flying your frames for two years and as I'm watching I keep thinking yes yes yes! Couldnt agree more with the arms flexing/breaking, and like how they are longer, I had issues with the camera slamming into the FC in skeleton mode and have been running a POD since... also really like how there is actually a slot for the battery strap now with room to mount under the esc. Super excited I'll be ordering 3 off the bat... hopefully you will have a hybrid and non-hybrid SX option since I'm not sold on the hybrid yet either and I want to have a few spare arms which hopefully I will not need (went through 4 arms already this year). Super excited you hit the nail on the head on every issue I've had, next time include me in your testing!
That’s great! He had some videos on his channel a while ago but it would be great to learn drills and practice tracks. I’m on my 4th year flying would absolutely benefit from stuff like this which is lacking online.
I really like that you have separate frames for the different size stacks. The one screw channel locked arms is a great idea. I'm going to look into getting a turtle post instead of the fin for my Hawk. Looking forward to seeing more videos on these frames. 👍💖🤓
This is so dope! If running gummies I recommend compressing the stack so it's more rigid and doesn't wiggle or jello easy, that has given me no issues but it depends on setup I guess
It looks like the Hyperlite Floss series which i really love :) Very interesting feedbacks and explanations about all the adjustements! You must get indeed so many precious datas from someone like Alex :) 11:14 LMAO Keep doing the great job and have a great weekend!
Bah you sucked me in,,,I must have one. I put in my email to notify me when I can order.... I would have pre ordered today! Ever since I tried my first light frame I have been hooked... can't wait to build this!
Very good looking frames!! When I had Helio FC it was that time I've found that my protons buttermounts were messing things badly. So I say go without buttermounts. You should not softmount too much and FC grommets are enough in my experience for the best result.
I think the buttermount thing affects FlightOne quads more than it does Betaflight quads. Don't quote me, but I think that's the case. My Neutrons are all FL1 by the way.
@@bramfpv8245 The gummies affect FL1 negatively. I think it has to do with FlightOne being so highly sensitive out of the box and the filters being designed specifically for hard stack bolts with just gummies for the FC. That all said, it doesn't mean it's incompatible. I fly MillivoltOSDs on my Neutron with buttermounts and it still flies better than my BF racing rigs. So I'd say, go for it.
@@FlightClubFPV Yeah, I really don't see them being an issue on BF. Just on FL1. That said. I'm going to try and put washers top and bottom of the holes to cancel out the gummies down there and test to see if I notice a difference. My second Neutron build shudders way less than the first one I did, but that's because I built it based on what I learned from the first one.
i have a question about the cpt's setup. ist the aikon esc and the MiniVolt FC plug n' play? or do i have to swap out some wires? Secont question. Mounting is 20x20 but what size fot the screws? m2 or m3? Thx alot for the videos.
It looks there isnt going to be an option for true-x setups? Or as many options as the standard proton frame? I was pretty close to ordering a proton frame until I heard about a new frame coming out so I held off. On the standard proton I see lots of different options on the arms to use. Will the Proton-R have as many options? Will I be able to run a true-x in 5 and 5.5 and 6inch, and all those other options if I wanted? Also, in case I wont have all these options on the Proton-R, will the older frame still stay available to order? I really am a fan of true X and really like the flexibility the original proton frame offered as far as arm layout. Oh also, I will add my vote to remove the butter mounts, I agree that that too much movement becomes a bad thing. Thanks!
the PROton is a more adaptable frame with lots of options. the R frames are strictly race frames so the hybrid geometry is designed into the nucleus plate. have you tried hybrid? it's such a nice feeling for racing
@@FlightClubFPV OK, that makes sense. I havent tried the hybrid yet. Your response makes it sound like there is no plan to discontinue the regular Proton then? Id hate to decide on buying the standard Proton and then you guys decide to stop carrying it. Thanks for your response!
Would love to know the pids and settings for the millivoltosd setup. Just finished an Arc-1 with the millivoltosd and spark32 and Xilo 2207 1750’s, it’s running great but I know it can be better. Plus I have a weird issue, when I bump into something even when coming in to land and just softly tap the ground the quad flips out and resets. Other wise it flys perfect on the high power tune and default filters but changing the right side to dual biquad filters set at 200.
Fixed the spaz out issue when I bump something. Woo. But while working on it just now I broke an arm and killed a battery. Damn desync’s after a big punch out lol. Bam 150 foot straight into the ground. 🤣
FlightClub awesome. I was able to fix the issue. Just had to flip the fc over with the usb plug facing down. It’s ran perfect ever since. I even dropped 3 seconds on my utt 1 and 2 times 👍👍👍 Still not as fast as Alex lol but I can deal with a 14 second run.
I'm so happy dude... you've addressed a lot of the issues I had with the proton and neutron in this revision: distance from stack to camera, arm strength over time.. I'm excited to try these out. Now I know I was talking to you on facebook this morning but I have one last, very important question... Do the 3D prints come in teal? ;)
FlightClub 🤣🤣🤣 lol I bet it is a good one too. I just may have to try it one of these days. I’ve got enough parts to build 3 more rigs and still have back up parts but I’m in the process of upgrading motors moving up from the hyperlite 2205 1722’s to some Xilo 2207’s at least on 1 rig I have. Haven’t decided what motors for the other ones yet tho. I will say tho this frame look like the build space is a bit bigger than the arc 1. The arc was a tight tight build.
because he asked about thickness of the plates and I didn't have them. i cut out the part i went into the hanger to get the plate so i can talk about it.
i thought about designing a vertical arm frame but after speaking to retailers in UK, they told me it's not very popular and they don't sell many frames
I have tried vertical arms and they are not worth it. It requires more screws and carbon/hardware, for not as much benefit. More screws, means more stuff to get loose causing instability. Plus, the arms for the neutron and proton are already pretty narrow. I don't think going full vertical is much better for aerodynamics, and the standard configuration for the neutron/proton makes swapping arms extremely fast and easy. With the new R versions, it will be even stronger, more stable, and easier to swap!!
@@nkeney the racers i have spolen to says therere is a different dimension of flying. None of them are willing to go back to flat arms.. They are the top 10 i the world. For my flying i doubt it matters im not fast enough to benefit from it.
The plate arm channels was genius!

thanks Nick!

yeah seems like a flightone thing
Bahhh I'm lookin for the assembly vid for the frame! These are badass
With the butter mount all you need is screw it tight at the base, it wont move and its going to take the ringing going through the screw
Very well thought out frames, great job!

not yet, the page will be up next week

i believe there is a cable for direct plug in that comes with the ak32. the holes are m3. no m2 in any of our frames
Frame weights?
about 70 and 78g. wont know exactly until we get the final versions
Love it!! 👌 Is there a way to top mount the battery toilet tank?? I race most of my quads that way and it helps track better on corners!
no sorry. these are small frames
@@FlightClubFPV it's as simple as having one or two slits on the top plate? (no weight added) plus it's always nice to have options on a race frame.
Why not just one frame with 20x20 and 30x30 holes? Does the 20x20 have narrower and shorter body?
i talked about that in the very beginning of the video. yes, 20x20 is narrower, shorter and lighter
So. I have to ask. Being that Alex is now officially a RR pilot, are these going to be available on the rotor riot store? 🤘
no. these will be in our store exclusively for the domestic market
