Mumbai-Goa Highway bridge Collapse: 2 Bodies Found, Many Feared Missing

An old bridge on the Mumbai-Goa highway near Mahad collapsed in the wee hours of Wednesday morning in the Raigad district in the Konkan region due to heavy rains. About eighty per cent of the bridge built over the Savitri River gave away.

Where any disaster in our country like the Flyover incident in Kolkata, disaster in uttarakhand, Mumbai - GOA bridge. They are Army or Navy or Air Force. But the Central Government are ignoring to hesitate to increase the pay hike. We are proud from our Defence personel. Always, showing the class.

It was inspirable that as arrived in T.O.I on 4/8/2016, the police and Fire service had reached the spot at 11-35 pm, when they informed at 11-30 pm by the eye witnessed a Motor mechanic from TATA car. Hardly seen any place in our country to reach within five minutes. This is the Maharashtra, where they are quite serious in every aspect. I always preferring them , though a Bengali person.

we are using the old monuments, buildings, bridges etc., until their collapse. it is better to preserve them instead of using them and we can prevent this type of natural calamities.

This is truly a tough job to conduct the rescue operation, when the weather was completely made vilen role. Agency are requested to go ahead to built up mechanism to take stock position that such a way to prevent this kind of disaster in future. Totally, shocked.

bridge was old, this must be in knowledge of maharashtra government. sharam to aayegi nahi maharashtra government ko.
abhi bhi wait karenge, ki some bridges should fall down, like this one. uske baad rennovation ka kaam karenge. central givernment se paisa lakar, 5 year yojna mein daalkar, jisse khud ki pocket bhi garam ho jaye. public to marti aayi aayi hai, marti rahegi. kya fark padta hai in chutiyo ko.
