Poor old guy, man life get tough when you get old. Sure is nice to see tradesmen with integrity and honor! Steve you are a credit to the human race and you can't say that about too many today.
You are very kind to older people Steve. The way this gentleman talks and carries himself makes it obvious that he was very independent and feels a little self pity about what old age has done to his body but you kept things positive, joked with him about his aim and praised him for reaching 95. My dad was 84 when he died earlier this year and this gentleman reminded me of him. I'm guessing by the edema in his feet that he also has heart failure (heart isn't strong enough to pump blood from the further parts of the body so so fluid collects) and part of the treatment doctors have is to give them "Water Pills" like Bumetanide to remove excess water so it makes them go pee several times a night which for an older guy is no fun at all. I'm sure he appreciated laughing about it.
Steve you are a great guy...kind to older folks and they appreciate it. You make them laugh and put them at ease. You also make everybody laugh that watches you and miss Molly.
Just repaired my neighbors toilet with same issue last Thursday. My wife wears compression socks for blood flow. Damn things are expensive and if she loses or gains weight she has to get new. Getting old sucks mama! Thanks for video Steven.

My parents spend the winter in a co-op neighborhood in FL. Dad has Parkinson's and can't stand the cold up here anymore. It's a 55+ community and they have a registry of known service people/companies and contractors. Whenever someone needs some work done they consult the registry and can be sure they're getting someone reputable. Whether it's HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a new roof, everyone that's done the work for them has been fantastic.
It's hard to be that old. I know my thoughts would be after using the toilet to step over to the shower and clean up in there vs. try using the paper etc. Good repair in just a few minutes.

My pop lost his sight and hearing. What he loved most was reading and listening to games on the radio, especially baseball. My Mother did all she could. My sister came on Wednesdays. She found him hang in the garage. This man didn't want to be a burden. So much so he mad sure he did it over a garbage can with liner so clean up would be easy when his bowels broke. I was not surprised. When i was young he would always say he never wanted to be a burden.

I just went to a house where the braided supply line to a toilet burst and flooded his house, I already change them pretty much every time I work on a toilet unless they are brand new, they are supposed to be changed every 5-10 years anyway, when in doubt... keep up the good work Steve 👊
I'm curious if that's a chair height toilet?? I always recommend them for older people, a lot easier to use, ergonomically friendly, support bar systems do nothing but cause problems on toilets
Had a guy that was completely deaf. Had to speak into his phone then he would read it to communicate. Texting sometimes is good for this but it’s part of the job. As long as I get paid I have no problems with it
