A little input. When you are installing the panel back, you are very rough in hammering with your hand. Those plastic snaps are easy to break. It is best to ensure they are in their proper places and press-fit them into their holes. I now have to repair a couple of them. Thank you for your video though, as it helped out quite a bit. The door checks are very weak on these cars, so I took it out, disassembled it, added shims, and re-assembled the check assembly. Yes !! It works. My daughter's shins are saved. As I was unplugging the connectors from the rear, the assembly fell and it shattered, and yes now I have one on order from E-Bay. The remaining three will be much easier . Perhaps people can learn from my mistakes.
We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this particular repair. We'll keep this request in mind in the event that we make this repair in the future.
Thanks for this. This was very helpful although I had a tough time putting the panel back on both doors. I almost gave up a few times. It’s like you have to find that sweet spot and then they just snap right on.
thanks. I was able to access the speaker that needs replacing. One comment on the Switch assembly - I broke the front portion of it while lifting up. OK, the plastic is 13 years old and it was 30 degrees when I tried, but - there is a tab that locks the assembly in place. I think if you push into the middle of the front side, you can push the tab in enough to help with the lift. I also broke the piece by the door release latch. Oh well. thanks for the video!
Could you help me in a Nissan Altima 2011, I'm replacing the driver side car door but I can't take off a yellow connector. Wondering if you know how to take it off.
I have a 2000 Nissan Altima that runs great. The door locks have broken so that you can not unlock the car with the key. Do you have a video on how to replace the door locks?
We currently do not have a video that shows this particular repair. If you remove the door panel, you should be able to see what holds it in place. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
