- This is the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 2. Honestly, amazing. It is by far the most interesting looking speaker I have ever put my hand on! AND IT SOUNDS SO GOOD! The quality is typical Harman Kardon, clean, crisp, amazing! It's a little pricy but SO COOL! well and it sounds awesome.

Have had one for a while now. Love it.
Whenever I take this thing too work people wonder where the bass is coming from and when they see it they stare at it in awe. Then when I turn the ambient light on they're like moths to a flame. Everyone that sees it wants one its definitely a attention getter.
I got one recently, it's by far one of the best speakers.... I am in love

Wow this speaker looks amazing! I have the Harman Kardon Go+Play and it’s the most impressive speaker i’ve seen in my life! Very nice deep bass, no distortion, keeps all bass till the max and is only €260.

Just got mine on Friday. Planning on hooking a chromecast audio up to its aux, but I was legitimately impressed with its sound as a $180 bluetooth speaker
I have Harman Kardon soundstick 3 wireless and I love it
So, the speaker has 7 speakers. They wrap around the sides, and if you have music that pans from left to right, or if you're watching a TV show where something flies by like a jet, it sounds amazing. Also, the Studio 2 allows for dual connection with a second speaker, so that one becomes your left speaker and one becomes your right speaker. Which makes stereo music sound freaking amazing.
It's loud, it's proud, and it sounds awesome. I've had the Aura Studio for a while now. Since 2016. I love it, and so does my wife. We play video games with it, music, and watch movies with it. It takes a LOT of punishment. I take it to my second job a lot, because it's a beach souvenir store. It puts out enough sound that people can enjoy music all around.
NO, really, it fills up the store WELL. I put on Aerosmith and little kids hold their ears. xD It's pristine. The bass and tweeter seperation is fantastic.
It's no Phantom Gold, but comparing a $200 speaker to a $4,500 speaker is unfair anyhow. For real, this is the best bang for your buck - pun intended.

Ok, how do I prevent it going into sleep mode after few minutes while it's connected via minijack to my PC and playing ? The cable connection would be useless if you wouldn't be able to listen to the speaker only through it. Please help

What happen to the sound if the glass part dissasembled. Its so inefficient dome volume, since all driver and amplifier takes very little space in the bottom part.

You can try with some sompressed air to loose the dust and after with a vacuum cleaner ( with a thin extension ).
Can you open it to clean when it gets dusty?
Can you take the plastic dome off to clean it incase something gets inside?
I have one of these aura studio 2 great looking speaker great sound, i was very disappointed that the ambient light does not dance to the music , it seems to be pre programed and every couple of minutes it turns of and on about 3 times, so distracting! !!! Apart from that great speaker , and music quality is great !!!!!

This is an old design. HK came out with this many years ago except the unit in the video was used as the subwoofer unit and had two small speakers for highs and mids. It was made primarily as a computer hook up.

Try to purchase a generic one with multiple / interchangeable sockets. At least you can use that for a lot of other devices.
it swounds better upside down, i think they should of made the bottom speaker the bass instead of the main speaker.

alteragnostik its a bit mire complex, it fires off sound in a full circle and out the top, but if you got two you can pair them and they will act more like stereo 360° speakers.

I bet you were a riot on Christmas morning unwrapping presents. Didn’t HK make the same style speakers for Apple products, back in the day, a much smaller version of your speaker? Pretty cool if the playtime is over 8 hours and charging port for other devices, and it doubles as a Rhumba vacuum cleaner. lol kidding. Hope you don’t have a cat, fur with static is a nightmare! Have fun keeping it dust free.

this is a pain to clean. I had soundsticks II and dust and bugs go in from the top and can't clean it.
That is the first thing I thought of when I saw the opening at the top. I guess flashy, expensive design isn't always practical right
I have Aura Studio 1 for multiple years and not a single fly went into it and its not even dusty. Maybe im just lucky but i really dont see a problem with it in this way.

Anyone had problems connecting it to their PC? For some reason it's only recognised as an earphone instead of a speaker...
It's a shame that it shuts off due to inactivity and theres no physical remote included to at least just turn it back on, turning it on every time and pairing it with a smart assistant is pretty painful.

I see no point in a bluetooth speaker that isn't chargeable especially for $600, if you're spending that much money you might as well buy an actual stereo that will sound 10x better
Andrew Berndt actually that is a speaker which acts like a decoration and it has bluetooth and airplay for convenience.
With that speaker you hear the music better while you are far from it. It is filling the space. I have the previous version and it sounds great.

That's called port noise and it's a bad thing for a speakers. It means the port (the hole the air comes out of ) is too small for the speakers. I don't know why they didn't calculate it right. It's Harman Kardon. I expected better quality.

Imagine Dragons’ Friction was the song I tested for the HK Go Play. When it hit the right treble and bass, I knew it was the speaker for me.

Aidan Fowler got one and it's far from it, the vocals are clear and the bass doesn't distort, it's built in amp/sub woofer packs a decent punch when needed and you can pair two together to really get on your neighbours nerves lol.
The look is an equired taste but it's a talking point.
