Darwen and Turton moorland fires 23rd April 2016

On 22nd April, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a moorland fire on Darwen Moor. The dry land and winds caused the fire the to spread over to Turton Moor. This resulted in 12 fire appliances from Lancashire and Manchester being mobilised to the scene. Find out more from Area Manager Mark Hutton.
