Thanks for posting this video! It sounds like the highlights were Fisher Cap Lake, Swiss Current Lake and Avalanche Lake? We are planning a trip this coming August with kids from ages 10-15. Apgar Village looks great too!

This was a very informative and fun video to watch. We are looking into traveling to glacier national Park, as part of a road trip through Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Our kids will be five and almost 8 years old if we go next summer. Do you think they would enjoy it at those ages?

Those hikes are kinda touristy and the most visited, dig a little deeper! You need at least a week in Glacier, (East Side). Stay is Babb, Montana (plenty of VRBO's for $300-$400/night.) The kid friendly best hikes are- Saint Mary and Virginia Falls Trail- Cracker Lake trail- Grinnell Lake Trail, Bullhead Lake Trail, Upper McDonald Creek Trail, Iceberg Lake Trail, Hidden Lake Trail. Pretty much guaranteed to see Grizzlies, Moose, Bighorn sheep, Mountain goat, Fox, Black bears etc if you do these trails. Bring a rod along the way and catch some nice west slope cutthroat trout! Doing research in advance is part of the fun and ensures you will spoil your kids with an above and beyond experience.

I agree! We only had 1.5 days here this time. Next time we’ll schedule way more time!
