As a student, my company provided me with a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) before March 11th. Due to my dissertation which was yet to be completed, I couldn't apply for my visa by that date. I'm nearly finished with my dissertation and plan to notify the school of my completed coursework and project. I want to confirm if I can still switch with my family using the COS issued before March 11th, despite not applying with it. I've seen recent amendments to immigration law and would appreciate clarification.
Please note: I'm sceptical about applying because I don't want a situation where my visa will be approved without that of my dependent as it will ruin my chances of apply for post study visa.Thank you for your ongoing support.🙏

Hi, i came to the UK in MAY 2023 with my dependant....with code 6141, can i switch to 6135 or which code can i switch to?
I have a friend who is already in UK with his dependants, so if he or the wife gets COS, the dependant (spouse and the children) will be asked to go home according to UK government's new rule???

What about the people that are already in the United Kingdom on the student route. Where a dependent is working in care home and the organization is ready to give him or her COS. Can the family dependent apply under him/her?
If the main applicant apply for the visa before March 11, the dependants can apply.
What about those on the care visa before and want to switch the employer on the same care visa due to licence been revoked and both applicant and dependent are already in the UK
The statement of charge said that you can change employer once you were on the visa before 11th of March
You can change COS and they will remain with you.

Hello, what if your spouse’s cos was granted before March 11 but applied after March 11. Now the skilled worker visa has been approved, can the dependents apply?
Sadly dependants cannot apply. Since she got her COS before March 11, She ought to have applied before March 11 even if she gets her visa approved after March 11. The emphasis is BEFORE March 11. This was my own case too. I made sure I sent my application before March 11.
