Thank u very much for your detailed explanation form harrison.but westermark sign is dilation of pulmonary vein just proximal to the thrombus,and Hampton sign is wedge shaped pulmonary infarct near the pleura.

As there is Pulmonary HTN that leads to right sided heart failure. IV saline can contribute to exacerbate right sided heart failure. I think you should correct yourself or me by logical explanation

Do we have to do thrombolysis and heparinisation in hemoptysis with pulmonary embolism?

What about antiplatelets, Beta blocker(for right sided HF) to stabilize heart.
