  • Taressa and I take a break from the campsite and take a tour of Sitton's Cave with Georgia Girl Guides. Cave animals, tight spaces and darkness...what fun.

Thanks for sharing & keeping it up years later. We just explored Cloudland Canyon, but did not look into any caves. After discussing caves in Science class, I'm sure my kid would like to return now just for the caves.

#teamtoomuch, I am a big scardy cat I would not have been able to do it. But I watched you do it to the end. 👍

I did this cave earlier about 8 hours ago and me and a buddy of mine made it all the way to the end, the tunnels that split off near the end are mental, almost less than a foot high of just crawling for 400 feet

This looks like so much fun!!! Love it. All these TH-camrs want to go to cities.....notta....I love exploring the great outdoors. Glad I found your channel.

Depending on your mechanical inclination and mobility expectations I would recommend the 80series. If you just want a strongly capable truck that is more modern, the 100 series. If something smaller is your desire do not look pass the Lexus GX series. Hope this helps! Ask questions and check out our website!!!

Great job! I have no idea how you didn't feel claustrophobic in those caves!

There were definitely moments where i felt a little claustrophobic, but it wasn't too bad. The tight spots were tough.

I felt like having a panic attack just watching. I am claustrophobic so thanks for saving me the panic attack. Completely off my bucket list.

Looks like a rattlesnake not a copperhead. We are planning a trip here soon, or Howard's waterfall cave.

That looks like so much fun! I'm planning a trip to Cloudland Canyon soon, and this may very well become part of the schedule. The snake you saw, btw, was most likely a rat snake. Unlike copperheads, they're non-venomous. There is quite a variety of rat snakes, but this one looks to be an eastern rat snake or a gray rat snake. The link below is a picture of an individual that looks similar to the one you saw.

The link below is a picture of a copperhead. They tend to be copper in color (hence the name) but can range from rusty gray to brown and have a saddled hourglass pattern that repeats the length of the body. They, like other pit vipers (rattlesnakes, cottonmouths, etc.), are thick bodied snakes, not slender like rat snakes.

Did you see any wildlife other than the snake and the salamanders?

Thanks 🙏🏿 for the education share. We see the normal stuff and we’ve seen a small black bear. I’ve seen eat snakes before that did not appear to me as a rat snake.
