- This is my personal 2005 Dodge magnum RT. I bought it a year and a half ago when it only had 32K on it. The Man i bought it from bought it new when he 80 years old as a weekend toy . After he had passed away his son decided to sell the car. When I showed interest in the car the mans family Literally interviewed me to make sure I was worthy of their dads baby. The car was completely stock when I picked it up. I have since added a few cosmetic things, Diablo predator tuner, MagnaFlow glass packs, resonator delete and a Mopar Cold air intake.
I lived in Detroit for 10 years and our company supplied exhaust welding equipment using a laser beam. Our customers were all the tier 1 exhaust suppliers and one was working on the Chrysler 300/Dodge Magnum project. I saw a prototype of the Magnum in 2003, one year before release and went straight to the Dodge dealer to place an order. They accepted my downpayment and I took delivery only one month after the presentation. It was and is the best car ever made...I drove 90,000 happy miles, and added a Magnaflow exhaust system to enjoy the "music"! In 2009 I replaced the car with the latest '08 model and I have driven over 110.000 miles since. I am 72 years old and have more speeding tickets than any other body boomer.....Enjoy your Magnum for a long time, I plan to...

Hi, Chris.. I hope this question finds you after all these years. I see you're using the Predator Tuner. Could you please see what your build date is and post back? It's on the sticker on the driver's door jamb.I have an '05 Magnum RT as well, and I want to get a tuner. I have read horror stories about tuners and early build '05s.I believe I'm in the clear with my 9/04 build date, but I want to be sure. Thank you in advance.
My build date is 10/04. I love the diablo tuners! I highly recommend them! They really wake up the Magnums

I have a 2005 magnum RT where did you get the cold air intake and do it come un the red? Also a throttle body.
I work for a dodge dealership and bought it from my work. The mopar filter only comes in blue but the K&N filter comes in red. I dont know about the throttle body. I've heard they dont really do much so I've never looked into getting one

Sweet car. I found a '06 Magnum RT with diablo tune, and I believe a SLP catback exhaust? Only has 79k miles asking $6000. I may purchase it soon. Any known issues with your car? Where did you get that front lip?

Juan Carrasquillo Jr my car just broke 65k. The only issue I've had is my clock spring in the steering column just went out. It does eat up brakes too but aside from that it's been great! I've put 33k on it myself so far. I absolutely love mine!

hey wassup I love this build wondering if you still have it after some years I had a few questions since I’m starting my build on a magnum , do you have social media by any chance bro?
I do still have it. I don't do a ton with social media though. I'm on a couple magnum fb pages called best dodge magnums on fb and Magnums united. Both are great Groups. I do have a newer walk around video I posted a few months ago on my car on TH-cam. The car has changed a lot since the frist video
