Thanks for the ride through my old hometown. I haven't been back in 30 yrs. Good to see that it is still the same.
Awesome drive through Downtown York PA
I lived in York Nov. 1985- Feb.2000. It looks like some of the downtown streets changed configuration as most of them were just 1 way streets form the center of the city extending 3-4 blocks in every direction before they became 2 way again when I lived there.
Ah, my hometown. Good to see this place again. I grew up here, but moved out in 2015. Then came back to live in York (though not in the city, I did visit the city sometimes in this timeframe) from 2019-2020. But I'm in Harrisburg now. I actually miss York though. Spent most of my life there. I remember when the C-Town (at 7:06) was a Save A Lot. Became a C-Town circa 2010. Though, the city has become more gentrified since I moved out in 2015, with less affordable things to do. It is a little disappointing to me, but I do like seeing more art take over. My mom painted one of the parking meters along Market st. ( 17:50 ) for an art event in 2013.
I enjoy seeing these driving tours in such high quality. I look forward to seeing more of your videos
Thanks. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Many more to come!
I enjoyed the "ride" through York, my home city. Grew up in the NW section of the city. Now living more east (Hellam) and commute through most of the streets you covered. Incidentally, S George St construction is basically finished and the street has been resurfaced.
Recently in York, PA damn it the cleanest city I’ve ever seen no litter on street. Homes are old old though seems like a ok little city could get bored out there easily though
It looks like a good town. Ironically i found this in my feed just after spending the day out in york uk.
This my hometown
Nice drive around the city. I'd be curious to see it in few years.
Thanks for the ride through my hometown. I'm from 2899 Whiteford Rd, near the Galleria Mall.
I love how you put the street name as a subtitle. Wish all location videos did this especially them hood channels like charliebo
