- Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh chat with ET’s Nischelle Turner about playing sisters in ‘Black Widow,’ in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on July 9. Scarlett opens up about saying goodbye to Natasha Romanoff with the first movie from Phase 4 of the MCU. Florence can’t stop laughing while talking about a moment in the film where her character, Yelena Belova, imitates Black Widow’s poses. Scarlett is the first Marvel actor to be an executive producer on their own stand-alone movie. She says in many ways it was her ‘greatest accomplishment’ while making the film.

im so sad this was the only time we'll be able to see scarlett and florence on the big screen together in the MCU, i really loved the movie and their chemistry but i wish it was split into two movies where one went into more depth of the red room and natasha growing up while being experimented on, instead of the "21 years later" scene which made the movie feel so rushed, like so much potential it hurts. overall this movie is so long overdue so i'm just happy she finally got her solo movie as well as being an executive producer on it :((

The great thing about the Black Widow movie is that it's the back story and movie that BW(Scarlett Johansson) deserves because she's one of the OG avengers... and it is also a great way to pave way for a new character like Yelena... we get the best of both worlds.

Just saw this movie during opening weekend and it really BLEW ME AWAY! Such good pacing, great action and storyline. Also like everyone else says in the comments, the chemistry between Scarlett and Florence was one of the best parts of the film. Very sad that we won't be seeing more movies with them together. :(

Took me awhile to realize that EP meant Executive Produce. Since when is executive producing considered a big accomplishment? Anyone with money can executive produce. It doesn't mean they make creative decisions like a producer would (like Ryan Reynolds for Deadpool)

Why is it confusing? This movie takes place after civil war. And Yelena will appear in Hawkeye because of what happens in the end credits scene.

I got to say, it was boring as hell! Scarlett knows she is only good in a supporting role, she couldnt carry the film entirely! And this has been shown in Black Widow. Florence performance is more memorable than Scarlett, we learnt nothing we didn't know already. Yelena could have been introduced in a different way, the MCU didn't need Black Widow...
