    Love the shirt. The most human-oriented temperature scale would have the 0 Celsius (watch your pipes!) and the 100 of Farenheit (average body temp, but accurate this time).

      @@jasonjayalap I’m glad somebody noticed my shirt. Thanks for the comment.

    Great job Kale and especially for figuring out that the S AND M didn’t stand for Solo and Mute which in my video, I thought it did. And also because of that you were able to record the guitar properly where my guitar was only recorded on left side. I’m glad that’s an easy fix but I totally agree with you about the microphone. I am wondering. If you plugged the mic into the 1/2 inch what would happen ? If you had a mic with a 1/4 inch and then changed it to mono ? I don’t know. Just a thought. I agree with everything you said and I also found that I liked it despite some of the design flaws. In my unboxing I showed a big problem with the shape and how if you want to use it with a tripod and your phone it poses a big problem with it being too heavy or if you even put your phone portrait mode and not landscape it really pulls on the phone.
    I think Synido is a great company and have always taken my advice seriously so hopefully they will watch both our videos and make an even better product. It is funny how we didn’t know we were both unboxing these and came to similar conclusions!! “Brother from another mother “ lol 😅

      I would imagine the SM57 would've worked if I had plugged it into the instrument (1/4") channel. You may have had to boost the level but I'll bet it would've worked. That's a possible workaround, but it would still never work with a condenser mic (or any active mic) due to the lack of phantom power. The fact remains, if you're going to market an audio interface towards vocalists, you need to include a XLR mic preamp, period. Using a TRS 1/8" input for a microphone is a miss. They should've probably just labeled that as a "line in" because that's really what it is.

      @@musicalmiscellany and it’s funny because I don’t have any small mic. I just did that and plugged the volca into it and it worked.
      I noticed on their video they put out that they literally use the orange vocable with the included 1/4 stereo adapter. Weird

      @@MariaCalfaDePaul Yeah, I think it's a really awkward setup.

    question, how's the latency feels?

    • @musicalmiscellany
      @musicalmiscellany  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I really didn’t notice any latency. It seemed really responsive and I didn't detect any echo or slapback in the headphones. In general, I've found USB Type-C interfaces to be pretty low latency. Much better than the USB interfaces of old. Thanks for watching.

      @@musicalmiscellanyuhm... where are the numbers? buffer size, i/o and self latencies?
      usb 2.0 soundcards can work at 1.5 ms total latency, i don't really sure, you can achieve better results, there is not much processing speed left for fx

      @@doodocina you can find the specs on Synido's website. There's a direct link in this video's description. If what you're looking for is not listed there, you can email their support address. They’re super helpful. Thanks for checking out the vid.

      @@musicalmiscellany nothing about latency here, check yourself, before giving links. btw latency and buffer size isn't constant spec, it can vary on different devices

      @@doodocina Please read my entire comment before replying to it. The 3rd sentence clearly says to email Synido support if what you are looking for is not listed there. Their support seems to be helpful and they may add it to their website for the next person who has the same question.
