Been DJing with an iPad since 2012 with the Numark IDJ Pro, had to convert it to lightning from 30Pin but it has always worked flawlessly with Algoriddim's Djay app. Prior to this I was on M-audio's Torq connectiv with Gemini PT-2000 turntables and Numark battle mixer, loved the setup, control and look but absolutely hated carrying it to gigs (heavy). I'm still rocking the IDJ pro today and don't see any reason to switch, although the Denon Prime 4 looks appealing. Algoriddim is spot on and now with DVS support I purchased a Numark scratch to get back into the turntable game at a reasonable price and still use the number 1 Djay software out there in my opinion. Dabbled in Serato but I made the full switch to iPad so Serato is out. I would never want a laptop in my face again, the iPad is intuitive because you have buttons on a screen that you can actually touch (albeit "soft" buttons) which make changes quick and easy. The reliability is absolutely solid and with the position of the iPad it really lets you interact with the crowd like you should be doing, without a screen in your face. Now with my TT setup the iPad is mounted on a laptop stand but sits flat, so basically it feels integrated to my mixer. We've come a long way in the digital DJ world, it think its time for DJ's to dump the laptop all together and and get more engaged with the crowd instead of hiding from them.

Another one that's at a little higher price point is the ddj 200. Its priced @ $150 and it's Bluetooth, with midi capability. However I don't know how to midi map it to Serato DJ, which is what I use. It works with Djay, rekordbox, which is free to download, and it is plug n play. And that software is helpful to use for more Pro stuff. ....works with we dj however haven't personally tried it myself
I wish you could also do videos with club standard controllers. Rane - Denon etc . The fact that Pioneer Nexus series is not compatible and probably they never will drives me crazy while djing with ipad pro m1 and djay app is so cool!
I was considering getting that reloop controller for my ipad pro because I taught it be cool to set my ipad pro in the slot now that I see with the otterbox it wont fit thats a bummer what ipad pro stand would you recomend that works get with the ipad pro

I have a numark mix track pro 3 and I’m trying to connect it to my iPad but I’m getting a feedback thru the speakers and can’t really hear the songs. Any idea on why that’s happening?

Yea hopefully as djay pro gets more popular more pro gear will be supported!

I have a Bluetooth mixer . The controller can connect to the iPad by Bluetooth and the the iPad bridge to the Bluetooth mixer??

You can but not directly, you would need a external mixer or speakers with a wireless mic
