Glen McGillivray hey we dropped time in every heat which is good. I love the medals but i get so happy when we just make it out of the quarterfinals bc its so unexpected
also they did the same thing during the last Marblolympics. They started out great, were even on top of the leaderboard and then somewhere around the 10th race they lost all their focus and finished 11th or so. It is honestly heartbreaking.
I've been waiting for them to finally get the better of the top teams in at least one of the later events. I think they just get too caught up in all the pressure of being in the lead

The O'Rangers just got second while their biggest competition scored 15th and 16th, a major boost to their first-place lead. 6. And finally, from 16th place after event 2, the Savage Speeders have finally made their way all the way up to Second - right behind the O'Rangers. #TheRivalryIsBack and it's back in full force.

So the Orangers are the only non-transparent single colour team. That could mean they're manufactured in a slightly different way that means the distribution of weight/imperfections in the glass is different, which could subtly but significantly change how they roll.

It's actually pissing me off how they're _consistently_ getting 5th place. Not a bad placement by any stretch, but just shy of making it to greatness. I just want them to win for once.

It hurts so much. Ducks and Chaos had the third and fourth fastest runs of the first heat, and got eliminated. Any other heat with that result and they would have advanced. It's been a rough season to be a Ducks fan.
Coach has put a rocket up the Oceanics' backsides. Gutted we just missed the silver, but fair play to the O'rangers - after that blinding run in the earlier stages, they deserved it.

you see the same in competitions between humans .. when usain bolt ran his 9.58 tyson gay ran 9.71 which would have been world record in the previous year.. or mack robinson who turned out to be second altough he just shattered the previous olympic record in 200m .. so we are not so much different from marbles

Green ducks fan here. We’ve struggled with this issue in previous events where we are put in strong heats and despite our good times, miss out on finals opportunities due to placement in heats. Don’t worry, they will produce other competitions after this! Possibly more, now that they’ve gotten an extra little attention boost from John Oliver. I first got into this channel via a Sand Rally video from them on Facebook-definitely check out the Sand Rallies, they’re very exciting! Almost more so than the Marble League-yes the ML has more of an audience right now, but the Sand Rally gives a chance for individual competitors and lesser-known teams to shine. Plus, if you’re new, you can catch up on previous competitions! I definitely enjoyed the Marbula E and Marbula One comps 🏎
The speeders have been on an absolute tear during the past 6 or 7 events. No real low finishes. Just consistent solid points and then 2 golds in a row. They want this.
Everybody gangsta till the speed events start. Great win by savage speeders and so glad to see them continuing to live up to their name. Just some consistency now in the top and we can come out as champions. Let's go #SavageSpeeders!
They're pretty slow to heat up tho, they only shows signs of revival after the triathlon (they would've bagged a good position on that event if only there's no underwater course at the end)
I think it was just a fast course this year. 13 of the 28 runs beat the old record, and fully half the teams managed it at least once. Galactic and the O’rangers beat it in all 3 runs!

They pushed super hard early because the format is so supportive of appearing in the finals thanks to there being so many points for grabs in the top 4. They may not be getting a lot of gold medals by picking safe strategies (though their 2 are still quite excellent, considering they won the 2017 Marble League with only 1 gold medal), but they're consistently getting a solid amount of points. As long as the rest of the field struggles for consistency, the O'Rangers are going to be able to use their steady flow of points to keep ahead of the pack. A veteran team with a veteran strategy.
We've gone from tied for second to fifth. We took dead last in this race. Ow. D: We're 29 points from tied with first place. That's at least 1 gold and another medal, if none of the other top teams get ANY medals.
So happy for the Oceanics. They have won Gold, Silver, and Bronze already. If they have just gotten the Silver today, they could have gone up the standing. Anyway, let's continue this momentum. #TidePride

The Savage Speeders executed their strategy perfectly in this event. Always putting in just enough speed to get second in their heats, letting their opponent tire themselves out while they saved up their energy for the finals. Was a story of control and patience. That’s been them this entire marble league too. They were slow out of the gate, but it was to give Speedy and Rapidly time to recover from Marbula One. Now they’re back in top form and ready to give it to their old rivals!

@Bronx Beast Squad they're a solid team. They did really well last year for a new team and i quite respect them. Rounding out my top 3 would have to be the indigo stars, who sadly didn't make it into the marble league this year, but i have high hopes for them in the showdown!
We all have to acknowledge that Rapidly and Speedy are the MVPs (MVMs?) of the Speeders, specially when they work together. They brought Gold in the Black Hole, and now those two were the final ones that overturned the Orangers at the end. Setting aside Newton's Cradle when they came up 9th, when those two work together they are amazing. This last two events and the entire Marbula-1 are a testament to that. #SpeedIsKey #SpeedingDuo

What’s even worse, Mellow Yellow are doing statistically worse than the Oceanics in 2019. By this event last year, Oceanics had 61 points, now Mellow Yellow only have 51 and have only averaged 4.25 points per event 😬

Green ducks fan here. We’ve struggled with this issue in previous events where we are put in strong heats and despite our good times, miss out on finals opportunities due to placement in heats. Unfortunate fact is, we are given points based on coming last in our extremely strong heat, ignoring the fact that our time would’ve put us 3RD IN THE FINALS. 🦆🦆🦆 Stay quacky everyone

Don’t worry, they will produce other competitions after this! Possibly more, now that they’ve gotten an extra little attention boost from John Oliver. I first got into this channel via a Sand Rally video from them on Facebook-definitely check out the Sand Rallies, they’re very exciting! Almost more so than the Marble League-yes the ML has more of an audience right now, but the Sand Rally gives a chance for individual competitors and lesser-known teams to shine.
Plus, if you’re new, you can catch up on previous competitions! I definitely enjoyed the Marbula E and Marbula One comps 🏎
Love the crowd’s “OOOOOOHH” when O’rangers do good or on the track.
The speeders have been on an absolute tear during the past 6 or 7 events. No real low finishes. Just consistent solid points and then 2 golds in a row. They want this.

I think it was just a fast course this year. 13 of the 28 runs beat the old record, and fully half the teams managed it at least once. Galactic and the O’rangers beat it in all 3 runs!

I've been talking about this for 6 months
The O'Rangers really looked like they were gonna cruise on through this event, but one last gas push for the Savage Speeders for the gold
just as long as that isnt the result of the overall competition I'm fine. OOOOOOOOOO!
They pushed super hard early because the format is so supportive of appearing in the finals thanks to there being so many points for grabs in the top 4. They may not be getting a lot of gold medals by picking safe strategies (though their 2 are still quite excellent, considering they won the 2017 Marble League with only 1 gold medal), but they're consistently getting a solid amount of points. As long as the rest of the field struggles for consistency, the O'Rangers are going to be able to use their steady flow of points to keep ahead of the pack. A veteran team with a veteran strategy.

The Savage Speeders executed their strategy perfectly in this event. Always putting in just enough speed to get second in their heats, letting their opponent tire themselves out while they saved up their energy for the finals. Was a story of control and patience. That’s been them this entire marble league too. They were slow out of the gate, but it was to give Speedy and Rapidly time to recover from Marbula One. Now they’re back in top form and ready to give it to their old rivals!

@Bronx Beast Squad they're a solid team. They did really well last year for a new team and i quite respect them. Rounding out my top 3 would have to be the indigo stars, who sadly didn't make it into the marble league this year, but i have high hopes for them in the showdown!
I knew my O'Rangers were good at the relay but that first heat was insanity!
Too bad they didn't pace themselves. We could have taken Gold.
We all have to acknowledge that Rapidly and Speedy are the MVPs (MVMs?) of the Speeders, specially when they work together.
They brought Gold in the Black Hole, and now those two were the final ones that overturned the Orangers at the end.
Setting aside Newton's Cradle when they came up 9th, when those two work together they are amazing. This last two events and the entire Marbula-1 are a testament to that.
