What can we say....the heat, the parking, Google maps, Bartemius having a 'turn'...🤯 However, Mojácar, Soportújar and Pampaniera....More than made up for it. Let us know which of the 3 places is your favourite..?!? 😍💜🤟
We are very pleased Roger, although we must admit we have no idea why this one has done so well. But it is nice to see our hard work being seen by more people. Thank you for your support Roger, it's very much appreciated, much love Darren & Alison 🤟♥️
Mojacar is beautifull. It has many residents aswell in the pueblo (on the hill) as at the playa. At the coast there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. Wow youwent all the wayto Cabo de gata. That's a protected natural park, open to tourists. Btw, the Indalo sticker you bought is the emblem of Almeria provence. Enjoy your adventures.
Hi, We did go all the way to Cabo de Gata, but couldn't find anywhere to park. It looked very beautiful. We hope to go back at some point. We didn't go to Mojácar beach as the temperature there was the same as the village. We needed to find somewhere cooler. The person in the shop told us that the sticker was the emblem for Mojácar alone. We realised as we travelled through more of Almería that It hadn't been true. 🤷🏼♀️ Never mind. It is still a really cool sticker. 😬 Thank-you so much for your comment. Much love 💜🤟
@shelaghmoore-h4f Think you'll find there are plenty of people viewing van-life channels because of the freedom it offers. For most people this is an unobtainable dream. If people are offering you a window into their world, then you are presented with two options, watch it or not. I for one enjoy the channel. But hey, each to their own. 😉
@shelaghmoore-h4f What makes us blind, deaf and stupid to you ..? Travelling as we do is certainly OUR dream, even though it sounds like it isn't your dream. Horses for courses et al...💜🤟
@@findingxanadulife Well, because I don't post rubbish on TH-cam? I understand where I am going, research what I will be seeing and don't get stuck up a village path with a huge lump of metal because i could not be bothered to check beforehand! You live life whatever way you choose, but I guarantee you are on a Crash and burn, because you are clueless. And arrogant.
Thank-you Suzie. Luckily with it having happened to Sebastian twice already, we knew what to look for. Checked in with the vet, then gave him the tablet. Apparently it happens a lot in older dogs and often with no underlying cause. Seb'attacks were 6months apart and the last one was 2 years ago, so fingers crossed Bart won't do it again for a while. We've replaced our emergency stash of medication though, just incase. 🤞🍀🤷🏼♀️ Thanks for your comment and your support. Much love 😘💜🤟
That last village .... so beautiful! Besides the locations, I do like your way of filming, the interaction between the two of you adds to the 'vibe'. Sometimes I am surprised the parking lots you use (and are happy) with but then I realize that when I was travelling I had a bunch of kids to take into account (and they were not interested in sight seeing that much. Pools, sea, other kids were their priority .. hence mince as well 🙂). Thanks again
Thanks Towah. What a lovely comment. Pampaneira was something special for sure. For us it's mostly about somewhere to sleep safely. If it has an amazing view that's a definite plus, but we have also slept in a carpark outside a Leroy Merlin and a Burger King. (Barcelos, Portugal) 🤣🤣 Sometimes you have to take what you can get. Thanks for your comment.😘💜🤟
Hi Martin, Yea, definitely go. Also visit the 2 villages higher than Pampaniera. We couldn't get there with Perse, but will try again another time. Bubión, Capileira and Trevélez all look like they are very much worth a visit and are all on the list of "Los pueblos más bonitos". Let us know how you get on. Thanks for your comment. 😘💜🤟
Buenos días Ana ..! He agregado Hijar a nuestra lista de lugares para visitar. ¿Supongo que es el hijar en Teruel ..?!? Muchas gracias por la sugerencia.😘💜🤟

Hey Barry and Sarah, Yes you really should visit Mojácar, Soportújar, Pampaneira and the other 3 that we didn't get to Bubión, Capileira and Trevélez. We intend to go back and visit them when we can. 🤞 Much love. 😘💜🤟
Another great video, especially because you're now exploring the Granada area which we're looking at for our next trip to Spain. The Alhambra Palace is on the bucket list 😀. Of the 3 you visited Pampaneira is definitely the favourite. Hope the boys are continuing to improve 🤕😘🤟xx
Hey Jo and Dave, We tried to get to the Pulpi Geode too, but it was booked up WEEKS in advance. So disappointed. Will plan much further ahead next time. Pampaneira was our favourite too. Add the other 3 that we couldn't visit to your list as well. Capileira, Bubión and Trevélez. All 3 are also on the list of "Los pueblos más bonitos". We drove through Trevélez, but couldn't see anywhere obvious to park. Bart is almost back to normal now. Sadly Seb is getting a little worse each day. We know that time is fast approaching for us. 😭 Thanks for the comment and your continued support as always. Much love 😘💜🤟
The Alhambra may be a 'tourist trap' but stunning architecture like that, needs to be seen at least once in someone's life surely. We agree that there are lots of other places worth seeing that are less touristy, but they're also a lot harder to find.💜🤟
@@findingxanadulife That is the whole point. You can be a ticket stub, or you can think for yourself. I have been to the Alhambra. At the time I was overwhelmed. Now I just think, "Yeah good tourist bait." It has been so overplayed that it actually becomes boring
So, you admit that you have been to the Alhambra and were overwhelmed. Why should everyone not be allowed to have that feeling if they wish to..?!? We haven't had the pleasure, but we hope to at some point. You called us blind, deaf and stupid, but have you actually watched any of our other videos..? We adore small places, that usually have very few people in them. You're judging us harshly, when you know nothing about us. Thanks for your comment and your opinion.
Great video. I'm so sorry that the doggies are having so many health issues. 😢 That village reminded me somewhat of Salem, MA. The imagery used for the witches seems very New England/US inspired. I’m going to have to research this village. Stay cool!! The temps are improving in VLC but the humidity is still awful.
Hey Joanne, The behaviour towards the villagers in the past was very similar to that in Salem too. That's one place that I (Alison) would love to go to. Fingers crossed we'll get there eventually. The dogs like to regularly remind us that they are no longer puppies, even though people regularly think Sebastian is still a puppy. It must be his floofy fur and often gormless look. 🤣 We have a tough time ahead with them, that's for sure. Thank you so much for your comment. Much love from all of us. 😘💜🤟
An alcoholic drink, are you mad?! We could honestly never...! 🤪 A truly beautiful selection of villages there, I (Dan) really loved the witchy one, even all the random spooky ornament type things dotted around...that house that looked like it was on legs! On a darker note, it's sad if it had the same history for the women there as it did for so many others worldwide. Truly an awful time. Burley in the New Forest is a fab little village with a more recent witch history, but that also has an element of persecution. That last village was unbelievable though...wow 😍 Given we were stranded in that region for a while last year, there is so much we missed. You would love the village of Nigüelas too for the views in the valley. So many gorgeous places and you've given us reason to go back. I did laugh at the bin men 😂 How people navigate in their cars is beyond me. Poor Bart, it is always emotional having pets, and though you see them live out their lives, you are giving them the best life of adventure with lots of love and that's what matters ❤ Love to you both, take care ❤🤟
We were indeed spoiled in this video. The villages just kept getting better and better and what a horrible view to have from a park up. 🤷🏼♀️🤣 The craving for a Clara (Radler/sharp lemon shandy) doesn't happen very often, but it does if we smell it. We ended up having a half each at the fiestas recently too. Yep, 2 halves in one month, we're living life on the edge. 🤪 It was relatively recently that Soportújar decided to embrace its history and run with it, about 2010 or something. Good money spinner I'm sure. You should definitely return and visit. Check out Bubión, Capileira and Trevélez too. They're also some of "Los pueblos más bonitos". We drove through Trevélez, they seem to be big on air cured ham hocks. You guys should have better luck with access and parking than we did with Perse. 🤷🏼♀️ Thankfully Bart appears to be 95% recovered now. Occasionally still a slight head tilt and will lose his balance if he shakes his head, but fingers crossed, no lasting damage. 🤞🍀 We know tough times are ahead with Sebastian. Much love to you both. 😘💜🤟
The way you pronounce mountain 😂. Also, €6 Euros for those rugs is a STEAL. So no you weren’t ripped off. You bought a bargain from an independent business and supported a local family. Please see it that way.
Noooo, I think you misunderstood us. We were thinking that the rugs should have been much more expensive. We were more than happy to pay €6 for the rug, we thought it was an amazing price. I (Alison) fell in love with a beautiful hand woven scarf too, unfortunately that was €55 and we couldn't stretch to that, but we do always try our best to support the local shops and businesses.
