@@rodmacivamy 2019 does the same thing. Took it back to Honda and they said nothing was wrong with it. Maybe not but I have been scared to stomp it to the floor because that clicking sound is plastic and I’m not sure if it’ll hold up.
yo bro, love your vids, was wondering what the site you ordered the crf 125 from? because i have been always wanted one but me and my dad don't know how to ship it. to our location in the Bahamas would love to have your help. Great vid btw!
Hey Max, in the Honda Pioneer service guide, depending on the maintenance interval, sometimes they recommend replacing both engine oil filter and DCT filter while, other times, they recommend changing only the engine oil filter. The latter appears to be recommended to change with more frequency. Do you follow what Honda recommends or do you think it just makes more sense to change both filters every time you do an oil change?
Great video. I’m wanting to change oil in mine, it’ll crank one time then I can try it again and it won’t crank. It’s still got break in oil in it. I wonder if there’s an engine disable because of oil or is it the injector wires, driving me crazy here in Mississippi.
It has a separate plug for the oil tank, and the engine also runs one oil filter for the engine and one for the DTC system. Also makes this machine one of the most reliable on the market that engine doesn’t quit.
Thanks mate. Great video. No waffle, bad jokes, just straight to the point. Exactly what I needed to service mine.
👍
Perfect video. Just what I needed. Nothing more, nothing less. (Except the liters and kilometer talk lol)
👍
Very nice. Accessibility for servicing a machine is important in deciding what machine to buy . Some of them are a bear to do a simple oil change .
Agreed👍
Perfect video no yammering on about stuff that doesn’t matter your just right to the point
Exactly what I was going for👍
Awesome video. Straight to the point. Thanks
Thanks for the no bull video. Perfection
Exactly what I was going for this is the no bull channel
Great Job and Thanks for torque specs and details
No problem 👍
Love your videos! Keep up the good work!
🤙
I got the same exact one 😂 thx for the video bro . Makes it way easier than me taking too much apart to change the frickin oil 😂
Thanks glad you found it helpful😎
Would it be ok to not change the sub transmission filter when just changing engine oil ?
The sub transmission does not have an oil filter
The second oil filter is for the dual clutch transmission and yes, you need to change it every time
@@Maxsmotoshop thanks
Does the clicking noise when shifting get quieter with time it worries me I just got the machine new thanks

@@bonsukan a new filter is about 10 bucks so it makes sense to do them both at the same time
Great video! Thank you!
Do you screw in the dip stick to check oil or press it against the case?
No, do not thread the dipstick in just press it all the way down
I am only changing engine oil and filter. Can I also change the trans filter without all the oil coming out? My 1st time doing this...
Is the system all one in the same as it concerns the usage of oil? Maybe I am off in understanding?
The two oil filters I changed in this video are both for the engine oil. The sub transmission does not have an oil filter.
You added oil to the transmission from the same oil container for the oil change. Same oil or different oil?
The sub transmission takes the same oil as the engine

Take it to the shop
Good video
Just curious do you change the o rings?
Inspector ordering, but it’s usually fine unless you damaged it on a previous oil change
sub trans takes the same oil?

Could Honda have made the oil filters any more difficult?
Trust me, I work on a lot of different machines and this one isn’t that bad but it’s also not my favorite favorite
Mine just hit it's first 100.miles today

Why the hell does honda have 2 oil drain bolts and 2 oil filters? Smh no thanks
