A few things I'd suggest that would help. You need to learn balance. 1. Ride your board wherever you can. Going to the store? Ditch the car and ride your board. Get more comfortable riding. 2. Bend your knees. The lower your center of gravity the better balance you'll have. 3. Practice little manuals. Manny blocks of concrete.
your skating the nose of your board if you look at the side of your board you will see one side if smaller then the other ull find it sm easier if you skate and try tricks from the smaller side (tail) then tryin to pop on the longer side (nose). i just subbed to follow along your journey and keep up good work also what park is this?
Thank you for the advice I mean I have tried it how you said it before but most the time I don’t think about doing it lol and I just focus on other things but I’ll try do it more, thank you for subscribing and it’s called Bourne Valley
@BerTrumTV the best ways ive found to mark the 'front' of your board is hy either using 2 different colours bolts in the top of the front truck so u dont have to think about it or mark it somewhere so you know where it is just by looking down itll eventually become second nature and if i wasnt in london i would have asked to skate with u but im miles away but yeah im here now ive got 10 years of boarding under my belt and im your 64th subscriber sp im happy to help in anyway i can
I was thinking about getting differant colored bolts to be honest and it’s all good man I’m usually by myself at the skatepark most the time lol and thank you for these tips
When you drop in, there is no need to smash the board down lol, try to keep the board as your nose goes down, like keeping it close to the ledge and of lean forward. Idk how to explain it but it will help you gain more speed and more feel more stable when droping in
Also, dont worry if you feel like you are not "making progress" becouse every hour you practise, makes you feel more and more comfortable in the board. It doesnt matter if you dont do anything and just ride, just have fun
Not sure if it’s your bearings, your wheels or the wind but one of those things is killing your speed, dropping in you really shouldn’t have to push much in a park like that if you’re pumping right. Gl to you tho beast
Ngl I think it’s both but MAINLY the wind, seriously the wind was so strong that day, I was gonna name it skating on a windy day but obviously those kids came so I had a different video idea 🤷
Yeah I understand you lol, I’m bankrupt at the moment, but once I get money I’m gonna invest in a media mod for the GoPro and buy a wireless mic which I can plug into it
I mean it’s short width and long length, making it become a traffic jam when it’s crowded especially when bmxers arrive 🙄 I wouldn’t say the skatepark is that big but it does have some good features
Kid was probably asking if you wanted to buy it, from his age and the way they was ridding it im guessing its stolen and ge was asking if you wanted to buy it for cheap
I feel the same way when I use to go skating. fuck sake it's windy, fuck sake kids here. fuck sake I just wanna skate on my own or with someone who skates proper lol. have fun learning bro and get use to riding the board. im a short guy and from my view it looks as tho the length of ur board is a bit short for u. for instance I find most length is 32" and that's not for me as im more a 31" up. 32" is a long drag but someone like ur self shouldn't have a problem. I also prefer 7.75 decks as they are shorter than the average 8" up which mostly are 32" long. also have u thought of using a chest mounted GoPro instead of on ya helmet? Idk about skateboarding as I haven't used it for that but my dog walks I use it and I love it and u can point camera down. depends what view u want. have fun bro as much as u can while ur young.
Yeah I’m thinking about getting a 8.125 or 8.25” but I’m not sure when, and I’ve seen a few chest mounts and they tend to be very stretchy and move a lot if that makes sense but the helmet keeps it in place, unless there’s like other chest straps that are actually good. And thank you bro I appreciate it a lot

Thank you for the tip, is it true that you should kindof bend your board as in facing your heel a bit when doing it?
daaamn the triple black vans with orange outsole is super clean
Thank you bro, they’re probably my first proper skate shoes ever

@@BerTrumTV no problem
as a floridian, i can fully relate to the rain, it rained for 4 or 5 days last month its so frustrating
About half of the days in a month rain here man it sucks hahaha especially for skaters tho
Nah that’s not the same 😂😂 five days a month lmao. Lucky to get five days of sun in the summer in England
I thought skaters do it because they love it and that life. These guy grumbled about everything 😂
I love skateboarding, there’s just moments where things don’t go well
Keep at it bro don't get angry coz u think what you've done might look shit on camera. Keep going
Your cool man! Keep up the skating and video's!!
Thank you bro I will for sure 👍
This is one of my local parks

Haha "ya like my ped" cought me off gard 😅
Where in Cornwall is the skatepark
This is not Cornwall
you should get an external mic, i like the content but i can hardly hear you
Yeah I understand you lol, I’m bankrupt at the moment, but once I get money I’m gonna invest in a media mod for the GoPro and buy a wireless mic which I can plug into it
W video I’m 7 months late but who is counting
You need a new hobby, summun that makes u smile
It’s just I sometimes don’t really know what to say or do as I was awful at skating and still am just improving each day
@BerTrumTV keep at it. Try to see a fail as a lesson or a step to improving. Put it this way u skate better than me lol
And sorry for the loud wind, I’ve never been to the skatepark whilst it was that bad before
park looks dope tbh
I mean it’s short width and long length, making it become a traffic jam when it’s crowded especially when bmxers arrive 🙄 I wouldn’t say the skatepark is that big but it does have some good features
I go there i meet some sound people there
New board, good bearings, dragon wheels, too much pushing! If you have to push after dropping in OMG
Kid was probably asking if you wanted to buy it, from his age and the way they was ridding it im guessing its stolen and ge was asking if you wanted to buy it for cheap
