First, what energy compresses the air and where are these pumps located? If anyone that has seen the movie "Jaws" sees a bullet hitting a scuba tank in the shark`s mouth which turns the shark into sushi.
Imagine a bigger tank that gets compromised in an accident under your behind. No wonder the prices of cars are exponentially more expensive today, they have these multi million dollar salaried presidents running the company into the ground. If they could engineer a petrol power plant that used 80% of the fuel`s BTU and scrubbed the CO2 they`d solve the energy problem until Fusion generated power comes along ?This idea has as much a chance to be a success as an air powered engine. Or, how about a rubber band powered car that catapults you along from rubber band station to rubber band station?

After being a scuba diver and using compressed air. I would never use a car like this. 3300 PSI is like keeping a bomb on your back. All car wrecks would kill all the people in the car as it explodes. Current rules on scuba tanks requires them to be tested every 5 years. This is way more dangerous than gas or lithium. You have no idea how heavy a compressed air tank is. There is ZERO weight saving with compressed air. This is just plan foolish building something like this.
