Every time you mention your Dad, I see the pain in your eyes. I want you to know he was with you. I am sure of this. When you dream about him, know that his spirit is connecting with yours at that time. This worldly place is not our last stop. It is not goodbye forever sweet lady. I am glad you had this time with those most important. Family and extended Family. Hugs.
So many "spot-on" comments below made by highly conscious viewers, all of which I agree with. Linnea, we've been following you since your van build and have always appreciated your honesty and transparency, along with the sharing of your life explorations, physical, emotional and spiritual. Wow. You are deep and consciously alive, which is very inspiring and moving. We are 64 and 67 and built our van out a couple years ago after being motivated by a couple vloggers as yourself, HOWEVER, after all these years, we have witnessed you honing in life for YOU. We honor your fearless approach in seeking what you wish to learn, diving in whole-heartedly and accomplishing what many could think impossible. Our hearts are filled with joy in you, for your life, your discoveries, accomplishments and joy. To top it off, you do transport us all into these beautiful moments, leaving us touched and inspired, and we thank you. And YES, your parents created a beautiful gift (YOU) for US, your viewers, who are touched and moved by YOU, and YES, your content is amazing, deep, artistic, moving and gorgeous. That is something we hope you feel very good about. THANK YOU!
Forever in awe of how you’re able to bring someone directly into the moment you’re experiencing. Through video and music you are able to create such a deep feeling for all of us watching! Thank you for all of the hard work you put into each of these videos you make!
I felt a little emotional at times watching this video. Watching you enjoy family time, kayaking on a beautiful lake surrounded by God’s country, the rain, Akela enjoying the her ride, just so much to take in. I loved every minute of it. I’m 67, times have changed, family isn’t the same anymore and I miss that so much. You will learn so much from Ancestry about your family roots, I wish you the best on that journey. You are a precious young woman, living your life to its fullest. Keep yourself safe, see you next week.
I am soon to be 81 and I no longer wilderness camp, your filming is so good the sounds, the images, the light and your calm presence take me along on the journey some times with you and sometimes just me and my ancestors. Thank you. I look forward to following your journey to find yours and your self.
O M G, your brother is so handsome!!!! ( I had to, no one else did) There was a time I spent camping and fishing, canoeing etc out in the wilderness with someone I loved. Unfortunately, he's gone, but I have so many pictures with memories. You've inspired me to go through them and put them up, they're so beautiful and watching you made me want to remember. ✌️💜🇨🇦
I think this might be your best video yet! I was mesmerized by the visuals and the beautiful thoughts you conveyed. I’d love to see more camping/adventure vlogs.
I love how thoughtful a life you've created for yourself. Reflection is so challenging to find time for in this fast-paced world full of opportunities to observe instead of engaging. Kudos.
Seeing you with your family gives me a sense of my own family. Every one of them passed now, but the feeling of belonging, of having a tribe, a place of belonging, is essential to happiness. Beautiful video, thank you, Linnea.
Thank you Linnea! The whole video from the beginning to the end was beautiful. The lakes, the woods the pets, the family... I am so happy for you that you were all able to schedule the trip together. Glad y'all had a blast. Take care of yourself, 🥰 🙏
Some of us spend our whole lives trying to get to this point. Others are lucky, or blessed, enough to find the moment. VERY few of us truly capture it and then share it with others. You have an amazing skill, and have found something truly magnificent.
Linnea! It's Jack from G6 back in 2017ish, I was doing research on offgrid living and your channel was recommended. Such a small world. You probably don't remember me but God bless you and I wish you the best with everything. So crazy I stumbled upon your channel
I will say again how much your laughter gives me a warm feeling and brings forth a smile and sometimes a giggle. Your brothers are very handsome especially Noah!!! You are beautiful inside and out and a very inspiring young woman!!! Kudos to your parents for doing such and amazing job!!! Even though you father is no longer physically here, he still has a great influence on you. I am an 81 year great grandmother and can say these things hopefully without being creepy. You are such a joy!!!❤
What a lot of people find uncomfortable with camping, you and your family find it joyable, most importantly is the quality time together making lifetime memories, can hardly wait to see the next generation sharing some of the same things 🥰
Umm cinnamon rolls!! The film you captured of you and your baby on the water at sunset was SoOoO relaxing, I could of watched it way longer! Loved how you captured the mushrooms, the spider web and the woods. What a fun trip!!
I love this. I felt called to find out more about my ancestry as well. I did a test and traveled to Scotland in 2023 to visit the exact area where my great-grandfather was born. I was amazed at how at home I felt. I hope to visit more places from my past soon!
What a epic time spend with family at your special place I loved this video, reminded me of part of my passed growing up. Thanks for letting us join you
💯Your Brother- He is so handsome! lol. Your sunrise row with Akela I was like oh man where is the love ❤button. It was my favorite part. Did you make your sour dough discard cinnamon rolls? Did you prepare them prior to the trip? I need to try this sour dough making craze. Loved the video. Love that your family does these trips together. ❤
Linnea ❤ this, I think ,is THE most beautiful video I personally feel you have made!! My face hurts as I realise I have had a beaming smile on my face the entire time. Wow, just perfect, Nature, family, dogs, curiosity, belonging and a whole lot of love . Thankyou, it was truly beautiful x
Linnea !! I have been following you since the beginning of your youtube journey, and I don't know if I've ever once commented. I admire you endlessly; in the way that I feel I am watching an alternate version of myself, when I see your videos. Much love & peace to you & to all ~*~*~
Great video Linnea, sharing this adventure with us was so uplifting. I can't wait to get out and fish again and see if my dog with my dog. Video was so calming, I loved that you were all barefoot in the rain together digging trenches around your tents. Amazing fun! As always sending vibes of Blessings and Love for you all on your continued adventures through this life.
I just found your channel and have become addicted. I like how deep your thoughts are and in turn make me think the same way after watching. Thanks for being you. You are appreciated.
@@Linneaandakela I lost both my parents young before I was 40. And watching your channel makes me feel finally able to say I'm lost and 💯 understand why you want to go deep into the back woods away from every thing and just soak in the sun rise and sunsets lol if that makes sense. Thank you!!
You have a great gift of being able to transport us to a tranquil place of purest beauty in nature. The pressures of life & the day melt away with each view of Akela walking through the woods with, each glance of a mushroom growing freely, and each wave or sunset, more stress melts away. As you travel your path of familial discovery, I hope you find grounding and belonging you’ve never experienced before. My father is now in his late 80s. If you would like to have help tracing your lineage, he has found over 25k people from all over the world who belong in our family group. It’s his life work now that he’s retired! I can’t wait till we hear your results!!! Much love to you!!❤
What a wonderful time! Thank you for letting us in. The journey into our ancestry is often a bumpy one. I hope you can find out all kinds of cool stuff. I’ve learned a LOT. Like, my dad’s dad isn’t who we thought it was! And one of my mom’s sisters is a half-sister! I live now where a lot of my people once lived, it’s awesome. Oh, and your brothers are all very cute… ☺️ lol. I wish you the best on this quest to the past! ❤
Wow another Beautiful Video Young Lady . Just to bad you had so much rain . It was good seeing your family again…. The area you went to was really Breathtaking. But we didn’t see if you got any fish to eat… Thanks for sharing this video 🙏🙏. God Bless You All Out there 🙏🙏😉
You can just see Akeelah with her head rested on the paddle looking at the sunset thinking my human is so cool. I just got back my DNA test, I found it so interesting that I am going to get my kids one for Christmas but the bigger package. My son who we adopted at two days old I think his will be really interesting. We know his Birth Mom but nothing really about his ancestral past.
Linnea, that was so sweet at approx 9:04 mins when you were swimming & went under water. Akela & Kobuk came running in as if in fear for your life & in rescue mode. They love you so much as do so many of us. I could feel their relief when your head popped back up from beneath the water realizing you weren't in trouble. This was another lovely video. Such a great family!💚
Being from Wisconsin, this very much felt like home, and reminiscent of my trips to the BWCA. Also... there is nothing better than the sound of a loon at dusk. Thank you for sharing.
What an artist, excellent editor, photographer, the best music. I have never joined anyone’s Patreon but going to delete Apple TV or Peacock for you Patreon…just a beautiful lady, soul, real…just feels right. I appreciate you and I don’t know why but I love Aleena with her sweet nose and ears and her love for u and yours for her. ❤Anna W.
I’m in Minnesota and absolutely loved this video. One of my favorite sounds in the world is paddling, and the footage of the loon was awesome. Can’t wait to go up north again next year! Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
It's so easy to see where you get your chill nature from. Definitely enjoyed this glimpse into your family. Hoping you get more opportunities to spend with them like this, even if we don't get to see them. Your laugh is almost different with them. Like you're relaxing in a way you can only do around them. I'm sure I sound like a weirdo, I just really enjoyed how much you could tell you enjoyed this time. 💜
So strange for a Minnesota girl to pick the desert to live. I love the watery forest and rivers/lakes. Found enough people who love the desert 24:41 so that I try to look at it through your eyes. I'm an Oregon trees, mtns, ocean, trees, lakes, waterfalls, and trees girl. Deserts still feel somewhat barren to me, but I'm trying. I'm with you on the pull to find more about your personal history. ❤
I am so excited for your journey into your ancestor's history and what life was like for them. My paternal great-grandparents immigrated to America from Portugal in 1881. My great grandfather was a whaler in Massachusetts, and my great-grandmother worked in a soap and whale oil factory. She would render down whale blubber to make oil for the lamps. My maternal great grandparents immigrated from Poland and Slovenia in 1825. My great grandfather worked in the coal mines of Pennsylvania while my great-grandmother made dresses. Linnea, I hope you find many interesting facts about your family. Learning and embracing the past can help us move forward to understanding our future. Best of luck, I can't wait to hear about your ancestors.
Our past caches up with us all, and I have come to understand a lot about you Linnea, you have opened my eyes to so much, and I truly love watching your videos, like the video before after you setup your water to come on at certain times to keep your vegetables growing while you were away, so Hank you so much for sharing 👍❤
I want to thank for letting me be a part of your amazing journey n adventure . This video has touched me in many ways i just have no words Linnea. Please Keep Safe Always. Hugs n Love Always From Your Friend In Michigan Tam ❤️ 💖 p.s. it was so amazing to c your beautiful mom n handsome brothers with u this trip . Also Chris n kobuck , n your beautiful Akela. ❤❤❤
Hi Linnea! I have been binge watching your videos for several weeks now and I love how much calmness and peace they always bring to me. It's interesting that you mention your ancestors in this video because ever since I read your last name I was wondering if you have roots in Germany. If you do, this would make me very happy as I am German and this is where I am watching you from. Lots if love, Sylvia
I love to see you laughing, you are your mother's daughter for sure, with your beautiful smile. In some weird way it reminds me of my own daughter!! Enjoy learning of your Ancestors, they have been waiting for you!! ❤❤❤
SOOOO COOL!! 😁 What a wonderful trip You will LOVE finding out your history💕 as a kid my great aunt would tell me SOOO many stories. And she had so many pictures. She did a LOT of the research on my mom's side. My dad's side.... My dad and siblings were first borns in the states, so I am second generation born here in the states. Very cool 💕 Excited for you
Wow, canoeing in the rain!! That sure looks like some lakes that I know from where I grew up--same state as you I believe. Love hearing the loons, glad you captured that. Rained so much around here this year, but it's been better now. Awesome camp cooking btw...thank you!!
I recently lost my brother. This video was hard for me to watch. I missed out on these adventures with him. Thank you for sharing moments I wish I had. It hurts but it's so damn beautiful. 💙
Just the way you caught the water rippling on the under canopy, (at 17:37)? That would have been enough. But. Such a soulful video. Quite beautiful, slightly damp, (I could almost smell the petrichor!) and yet so warm in all the ways that truly matter. We are the foundations that we are build upon. Thank you.
Oh my gosh welcome back to Wisconsin!!!!❤❤ i love watching your videos and you're in Wisconsin showing off OUR beautiful state❤ when you woke up and got the loon on video I got the Great Outdoors vibes from that and the rain well that's just a normal Wisconsin thing LOL❤❤❤ great video and great memories
How exciting Linnea , watching you on the lake wondering about your ancestor’s I saw the original peoples of the land also curious? I love your deep sense of inquiry your curiosity ❤️ how blessed you are to have been born into a beautiful supportive family 🙏🏽🥰
As I approach the anniversary of my parents death I find your videos so so comforting, calming and thought. Many heartfelt thanks for your videos and sharing experiences, thoughts and feelings ❤ provoking.
Hi Linnea, I love your video and content! It’s very well filmed and edited. I make camping and kayaking videos on my channel but I always dream of getting a van and travelling around the country, exploring and discovering new and beautiful places. I may just do that someday! Keep doing what you do, it’s very inspiring and liberating! 👏🏻😊

Yes, I noticed that also..both pups and when she surfaced they turn around n go about their business...so dang connected!

Our past caches up with us all, and I have come to understand a lot about you Linnea, you have opened my eyes to so much, and I truly love watching your videos, like the video before after you setup your water to come on at certain times to keep your vegetables growing while you were away, so Hank you so much for sharing 👍❤
Oh the loon call! Reminds me of summer family trips to Winter Harbor Maine.
Good luck in finding your future in your past. Give Akela a hug💜Enjoy.

I enjoyed watching; the dogs were happy to see you return to the lake.
Your videography and thoughts are inspirational. I applaud you for opening many eyes. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
SOOOO COOL!! 😁
What a wonderful trip
You will LOVE finding out your history💕 as a kid my great aunt would tell me SOOO many stories. And she had so many pictures. She did a LOT of the research on my mom's side. My dad's side.... My dad and siblings were first borns in the states, so I am second generation born here in the states. Very cool 💕
Excited for you
I love the music you choose. Your filming choices and quality are just top-notch. Seriously, so well done🙌🏽🙌🏽😊

Just beautiful in every way. Thank you❣️
I've missed your bloopers 😂❤😂
Wow, canoeing in the rain!! That sure looks like some lakes that I know from where I grew up--same state as you I believe. Love hearing the loons, glad you captured that. Rained so much around here this year, but it's been better now. Awesome camp cooking btw...thank you!!
I am so glad that you and Chris had a chance to go home to the North Woods before the winter.
Us too!
So beautifully edited and filmed, Linnea. What a beautiful feeling you captured.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you.
Absolutely wonderful. Thank you for all that you share.
My pleasure! I'm really glad you enjoyed!
It is so beautiful! How amazing the colors and flowers, the trees and animals, God’s creation is so beautiful!! And your brother is so handsome 😉
Haha thank you! :) I'll let him know.
