Easily my favorite knife maker. Gosh man! I want that AD20s with textured carbon fiber. Just paid off my credit card but I’ll dirty it up again if I can find one
I just picked up the Slicer in 20cv and now I'm drooling over a $40 knife lol! I wish it was in D2 or 14c but Aus 10 isn't bad and for a small back up knife that's an excellent price!
In a small knife your gonna get more edge retention from aus10 than 14c and the toughness advantage of 14c won't be of use with that small a knife and that geometry. If the d2 was well done ide rather d2 my self but it likely won't be and the companies over in Taiwan that do cold steel and demko aus10 have it pretty well dialed in. Aus10 is a very high performance steel at that pricing. You get a good bit of performance form aus10 for little money. Hell cold steel aus10 is giving most china done s35vn a run for its money in edge retention and is a very lovely steel on the stones.
My ad20.5 knives aren't the smoothest, especially where the lock rubs against the blade. Has this been fixed with their newer knives? I have a friend who has a shark cub and it's super smooth.
New 20.5 when I first saw it i said “Bull Shark”. Maybe because I have a corgi male pup he stands very wide and low. Reminds me of a bull stance big body
If they can actually get that Shark Cub at the $50 price point, they'll make a killing. I love Demko's designs, and the Shark Lock especially, but compared to the competition they're overpriced at what they go for at non-sale prices. That AUS10A Shark Cub would be the first one that I'd say is where it should really be price-wise.
100% agree, 150 bucks for k110 or aus10 20.5 is just to much money for that it is and the geometry is terrible... it's a fidget toy not a really serviceable cutting cool due to the geometry. 30thou behind the edge is not something I'm interested in carrying as a cutting tool and that's on the factory sharpening.. if I lay it back to 15 degrees per side it's gonna be like 35thou or so... axe like geometry basically. With fidget knives being so wildly popular if they get that at retail store price of 50-60 bucks they will sell a million of them. I've wondered why they haven't done an ultra budget version of it, the lock mech is simple enough that they could easily do it in a China made knife but that's impressive keeping it Taiwan made and targeting that price. Still the lock is simple enough that it shouldn't be an issue, they have the part geometry dialed in by now so it should be doable without an issue. The fidget crowd is gonna go crazy over them I'll tell you that. I have no interest in demko anything until they release something with a blade shape I like and at sub 20thou behind the edge on a tallish flat grind. The super thick geometry in 3-3.5 inch folders just makes no sense to me. I don't fidget I care about the knife as a cutting instrument first and foremost, so long as the action is decent and lock is solid that's all I care about, the super thick geometry need to go.
A monster truck load of cubs sold for 50 or none who knows I own 2 20.5’s I want the AD20 in any form just need to keep saving I want buy the slicer cub but just waiting
I really think that Demko should have been appointed as Lynn Thompson’s successor for Cold Steel. I don’t know if he was made an offer or anything like that, but it’s such a shame. ☹️
its infuriating that they charged $150 for the AD20.5 when it first released with aus 10a and injection molded scales, but now they are only going to charge $50 for the new shark cub with aus 10a and g10. I dont get it. everything else looks exciting though
I like the Demko Brand a lot for the locking and general design and the work with cold steel but there are things like this titel that frustrate me a bit to be honest☹️ Andrew Demko is known for the strongest lock. So very strong pocket knives right? And he always advertise it like that. They build very strong and perfect ergonomic handles. But then a slim small blade with a hole that makes it more fragile. Why? And the full thickness "fullsize" fullthickness version is nowhere available. Especially the one without a hole is nowhere as it seems. I own the "fullsize" slim mg ad20 and its a very good little pocketknife but it is definitely slim. So I would never use it like a knife with "the stongest lock". Especially with that hole in the blade most of them come with. So the lock might be very strong but the blade isnt. I mean I dont need to break the knife to know the limitations. So its kinda sad to have the strongest lock but a blade that isnt stronger then normal pocket knife blades with that hole. So you dont need a strong lock then. You can use a standard liner lock for such a 3mm thin blade with a hole. And now this video... Why are you making the ad20 shorter? I dont unterstand. The full size Ad20 is already a medium size pocket knife. It has about a 3.5 inch (about 9cm) blade. I wish Demko would at least also make a full 4 inch blade like on the CS recon or SR1 with this shark lock and make more full thickness blades for his knives that are special because they have the "strongest lock" and have a blade that can handle the same force like that lock can...
Damn, Demko is in fkn shape !!! My man grinding 💪
Demko expanding his business while remaining transparent is a massively respectable move. Take my money chief
It's so cool that Demko is gonna have an offering on the budget territory! I'm also looking forward to that new AD 10 MG.
$50 shark lock knife 🤯
What😮
That's insane really. That might be the best buy out there with all that goes into that mechanism.
More like $75. Not $50. Andrew corrected the price in a podcast.
DEMKO!
Knocking it outta the park! Wow, great spread of new options, wish I had one of everything
Easily my favorite knife maker. Gosh man! I want that AD20s with textured carbon fiber. Just paid off my credit card but I’ll dirty it up again if I can find one
Good luck keeping that budget model is stock. Those will be the hottest selling knife by far! Stoked to see it, cant wait to get one.
It's cool how AD wants to make his knives available, not just from a numbers standpoint but also a cost standpoint. Love AD knives!
The Shark Cub could be the one to watch out for. A fidget-friendly small knife has a lot of appeal.
That last one was closer to what I wanted when I got the 2.5" Cold Steel Engage, looking forward to the release
I would be very in for a budget cub
I think Demco knives are absolutely Have the
Best locking mechanism Also great coverage. You guys have the best cameraman in the business.

6:55 I just realized that they finally got the shark lock to match the color of the blade! Awesome!
New 20.5 when I first saw it i said “Bull Shark”. Maybe because I have a corgi male pup he stands very wide and low. Reminds me of a bull stance big body
Im most interested in the improvements made to the triad lock
... What was imrpoved?! I must know.
Wow, I like that AD10!….& the entry level shark cub!
I've been dying to get my hands on a full size, full thickness AD20 since they came out, hopefully they'll be plenty to go around soon
What happened to the Magnacut Freereign? Discontinued?
About time Demko came out with a budget model
That’s cool. I’d buy a Damascus AD20 and the new magnacut one for the collection
Lynn Thompson in the background in the very beginning
That compact blade profile should be the "Manta" option.!
Custom AD20 is my goal!😊
I am happy with my Cold Steel American LawMan with A 3.5 inch S35VN stainless steel blade. Lockback Tri-ad Lock pocket knife.
That budget cub is freaking hot 🔥 🥵
With Cold Steel going down the drain, thank God Demko is still around.
Bummed that there aren't any new fixed blades. An Armiger-6 would be amazing
That PVD shark cub looks good, but I wonder what the price will be since it'll be limited
Definitely the best knives in the business if you're going to use them
Idk if I just missed it but was there no mention of the AD22?
I'm interested in a demko ad20. But I'm holding out for the right combination for the right price.
Now I just need an AD20 with Shark Cub style grips
I was really hoping for a production version ad22 this year😢
AD-10M(agnacut).....Is the best knife there!! Put it into Production asap!!
Time for a demko finally I guess.
im super interested in that last lower price one! i like smaller knives
That $50 one is gonna crush
The compact is the AD-stubby
Hilarious moment between 3:13 - 3:25
Don’t miss it!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just call it:
Whaleshark Stout! 👌🏼
love me some demko
Demko is a GOAT
I'm in!
We need a production of the Magalon
Demko looks ready to deploy and battle
I would go nuts for that 50 dollar shark cub. My wife loves little knives.
An AD10 with a clip point would be an insta-buy for me

Sorry for the typos, auto correct only corrects what's typed correctly...
A monster truck load of cubs sold for 50 or none who knows I own 2 20.5’s I want the AD20 in any form just need to keep saving I want buy the slicer cub but just waiting
And hollow grind?
I love aus10 and reinforced plastics for beaters... Fifty bucks for a demko??? Sold.
Still no production Megalolock :'(
I really think that Demko should have been appointed as Lynn Thompson’s successor for Cold Steel. I don’t know if he was made an offer or anything like that, but it’s such a shame. ☹️
waiting for demko ad10m
😍😍😍
How about they make some more magnacut freereign models.
Ad20 compact snub nose!
I really hope their taiwan knives take off. So they can increase the scale of production for their us mades
My vote is "bomber blade" for the new blade shape
$50 shark cub???? I want one for each car, my kitchen, bedroom, and on my toilet
The least expensive Demko I seen is $150.
Am I missing something? Thanks. John.
I like the snub nose name
これ良いね!
The Badger
Yeah!!!! 50$!! Hope we will get those in Ukraine!

New one is not g10, it's grivory.
Call it the snubby...
I’m waiting on the AD 20 XL.
I want a 4 to 4.5 inch bladed AD20 not a compact. Your going the wrong way Demko lol
I'd like a wharny budget sharkcub
I like the Demko Brand a lot for the locking and general design and the work with cold steel but there are things like this titel that frustrate me a bit to be honest☹️

62 hrc for magna? Ok..
Snubfoot
Huge handle to smaller blade ratio = 💩
So we should call it the bull shark
Garbage clips of course
a $600+ knife with magnacut but it’s only 62 hrc lmfao… bunch of bullshit
I'll take one of each 🥹
