Afterward: A few weeks later, Ethan is surprised to find just one of his siblings at his doorstep, who said that they came all the way to him by themself to give him something he needed to see. That "something" was several things, being recordings, stolen journals and handcuffs, all of them painting a grim picture of the parents planning on kidnapping Ethan and keeping him trapped at home as a slave, with Emily's supposed attempt at making up with him actually being her attempt at luring him in. Ethan took the evidence to the police, who were able to use it to issue a search warrant against his parents. At their house, they found that the basement had been modified to be a prison cell and torture chamber, with tools like handsaws, boxcutters and hammers and nails likely being prepared to "modify" Ethan mentally and physically so he can't escape. Mark and Emily were arrested and sentenced to over a decade in prison for conspiring to commit abduction and torture, while the kids were taken in by a family that was willing to adopt all three of them. Ethan would continue to keep in touch with his siblings, knowing now that they were all safe from their parents' twisted and sadistic plots.

Obviously OP had his reasons for his stance and they are warrented. But his is punishing his much younger siblings in the process. His parents have bitten off way more than they can chew. Expecting OP to bail them out without question. OP should have taken more steps to protect his siblings. Yes he's only a 20 something but it seems like he's got himself in order. Unlike his parents.

But does he have the money he'd need to take all three of them on at once as he is just 22? Perhaps the best he could do at this time is have CPS involved and the kids taken away from their parents, and then most probably split up, and put into the foster system.
